Y&R: Fourth Actress OUT

Jennifer Landon is a solid actress who could have made something of this character, but she really isn't needed all that much, so... I feel bad for Doug Davidson more than anybody else. Will we see Paul on our screen anymore now that he is basically isolated fro the rest of the cast?

Quite honestly, Heather lost any real meaning once Vail Bloom was fired. And spare me any posts about what a "hair model" she was. That was MAB propaganda fronted by Nelson Branco. Bloom brought earthy sexiness and real feeling to the role which hasn't been replicated since -- certainly not by either of the so-called "Emmy winners" who replaced her.

I am not clear what's the deal there. Friends with benefits? Long-distance relationship? If MAB had cared enough, maybe she would have filled us in. All I know is that having Paul, Nina, Cricket and Danny in scenes together would have been MONEY for anybody with any interest in historical ties -- especially with Phyllis being prosecuted for the hit-and-run at the same time.

IMO paging Jen Lilley as Heather or Abby. Jen would rock either one of these roles. JFP is not F&&king AROUND LOL. Do you really think JFP is a total B&&TCH for firing all these people or do you respect her choices? IMO Jennifer Landon didn't really work in the role. She lacked any sex appeal. IMO the original Heather aka Vail Bloom had sex appeal in droves, MAB did all these former soap stars a disservice Genie, Eden Riegal, Maura West, Marcy Rylan, Debbi Morgan and Jennifer Landon. She hired all these people who were completely miscast in these roles.

Frankly, it seems to me that no one at Y&R has any real clue as to what to do with Heather; and if this doesn't end with the character being killed off for good, I'll be shocked.

Seriously, at this point, Doug Davidson might as well leave, too. He has become so irrelevant, it isn't even funny.

After Vail, they were determined to make certain Heather was never pretty again. First that overrated beast Eden Riegel, and then Jennifer Landon. Jennifer can act, but she is so damn asexual!

However, Vail and Doug didn't click as father/daughter. I found them to be total strangers all of the time. The chemistry was not there. ER and her unibrow just didn't click period. I have not seen JL with Doug, but is that a match?

Not at all bummed. JL's Heather is better than ER's version but still not a good fit for Heather at all imo. Besides, MAB handpicked JL and looks like JFP is axing all MAB's hires. This sucks for DD though cause Paul will have no kid on canvas. Its really too bad MAB and her goons ruined Ricky completely cause they could've been a father/son investigating duo. I bet now DD will get taken off contract if not axed completely.

So damn which girls are left in this bracket? We still don't know what the deal is with CK which is ridiculous. Recast Lily already. Eden should've got cut, not Abby. A possible Kyle/Eden/Noah triangle will fail...no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Chloe sucks and I say that as a fan but JG might wanna keep EH since she said he created her. This young set is pitiful.

Heather was on my list of dead weight characters that needed to be axed. Heather has been a flop character from day one. I have never liked any actress that has been cast as Heather either. It makes sense to vanquish this character from Y&R. Get rid of an ill conceived character in hopes of concentrating on the popular characters left while trying to bring in a few new characters that will work better. IMO
