And Kelly too. What I would do to see at least some of them again. I never understood the decision not to give Lainey and Kelly viable storylines, Kent King and Minae Noj are both talented and add some much needed diversity. I guess I've grown used to seeing GH's history ignored, so not seeing Bobbie, Gail, Kevin and a million other characters sucks, but I'm used to it.

I agree. Lainey and Kelly were both interesting characters and Kent King is a brilliant actress. I can't believe she doesn't work more. I still dream of seeing one of her episodes as Dru on Y&R.

Both those women with Patrick look like Iola from Mama's Family. Between them and Marissa #1 on AMC I guess she has become an icon in daytime casting.

ahhh The McBorg stare

And there you have it. The excitement of the two robotic leading men and their mutually boring each other and the audience to death.

Are we supposed to know who these people are when they just randomly came on this week and started fighting over Patrick? They are writing it like we've known these people for awhile

As soon as this "daydream" started, that's exactly what I thought. Never mind the OBVIOUS recycled, cliched storyline. This is Carlivati, so that's par for the course. My first reaction was: WOW! This is definitely a HUGE leap of faith. Having these two brand new characters that literally showed up out of nowhere in the middle of the week and already write such a heavy handed daydream, hoping the audience -- WHICH HAS NO CONNECTION TO THESE RANDOM PEOPLE -- will care about them enough to be invested.

As an extremely casual GH viewer, I was sure that I had missed a lot, but to hear that these characters were as new to you all as they were to me, wow. I will say that I was intrigued by the sheer randomness of it all. But come on, one look at this beginning, and you can already see the middle and end of this story.

It feels like they picked up right in the middle of this story as if its been going on for months

i agree as a Kent and Minae fan they bailed on two great stories for them right aound NShift...Kelly and Andy Archer (Dr. Feelgood) with her sex addiction they made her a sex addict and Lainey (who never had a love scene in her tenure) had story with Justis before they whacked him and with the military guy who came home from Iraq (Cody Paul) then Kiko came on board as Stan he saw the writing on the wall when they replaced him with Spinelli as the tech expert and left ASAP They had fans from Port Charles who were requesting them scenes/storyline together but ~crickets they had scenes on the roof a date that's it.

They also assembled an awesome very charismatic hospital staff including Dr. Leo Julian and the African American/Black nurse Regina (from NS1 I also liked the NShift 2 med staff)...but they dropped the ball and refused to write for them too; I never understood it. Next thing I know Archer is gassed and killed off. There was a lot of story for them.

As for these newbies who were plopped into a triangle with Patrick day 1 there are no words. There was no build up just BAM! as has been said as if the story has been going on for months and I know these people ... its awful and they've laid the orchestration and manipulation with heavy handed writing to root for Ugly Betty err...Sabrina vs the ManEater. Its more than obvious who will win...the fumbling bumbling shy nurse with a secret crush on the handsome wealthy widowed neurosurgeon...just because its corny doesn't mean it couldn't have been written well for a good story.

LOL. They sure shoved these two THIRSTY hospital girls down our throat fast & out of nowhere. It's a toss up who Ron will have go bat crazy - the stuck up bitchy doctor or the awkward, nerdy nurse? Or both. The story is pointless though and is only being done to give JT/Patrick something to do until Kimberly McCullough is ready to do come back again (rolleyes.gif)

BTW. Did I hear right? Is the bitchy Dr's last name Wexler? Is she related to Dr. Karen Wexler?

I think I would've enjoyed the Kate/Trey reveal better if the Connie gimmick wasn't integrated in. Ugh! I thought KSu was doing a pretty ok job until she was forced to make weird sounds & look constipated as she transitioned into Connie. Awful! I felt extremely sorry for Trey. EV did a nice job in those scenes.

I'm so tired of Todd/Johnny scenes. It's the same dialogue... every... single... time...

Todd: You killed my granddaughter and her father.

Johnny: You switched Sam's live baby for Tea's dead one.

Todd: I should tell Carly you killed my granddaughter.

Johnny: Then I'll tell Carly you switched Sam's live baby for Tea's dead one.

Todd: You're a liar. I would be happy to tell the world you killed my daughter's boyfriend and their little girl.

Johnny: You do that and the world will also know you took Tea's dead baby and switched him for Sam's live one.

ENOUGH ALREADY! THIS CONVERSATION'S BEEN GOING ON FOR MONTHS!

Agreed!

No. Her name is Britt Westbourne.

And while I'm correcting you, there's only ONE Bitch Doctor...
