Y&R: Major character return in the works? SPECULATION

I'm sooo sick of Rowell and her drama queenness. I hope she doesn't return.

I don't get why Stafford would have a say in this at all. i hope that's one person JFP gets rid of is the overly pointless Phyllis

Wasn't there a letter written (signed by 3-4 Y&R actors or actresses) protesting the return of VR as Dru the last time there was buzz about her returning?

I don't care about drama queenness if the person delivers. Y&R is full of drama queens like Muhney who don't.

I just don't buy that MAB was delivering super-secret messages to Nelson Branco which were then delivered to Victoria Rowell. I don't believe the issues Sony had with her would magically be erased, especially since MAB had huge issues of her own with Sony.

I completely agree with you. It all sounds like Branco created a starring role for himself in a manufactured imaginary drama. If MAB really could get Sony to agree to hire VR, she would contact VR directly to discuss the situation not ask a blabber mouth fantasist like Branco to get involved.

I miss the Sharon and Dru friendship. It was very unexpected but it workd and Sharon Case and Victoria Rowell had good girlfriend chemistry. Their mutual hate of Giggly Heffa was hilarious

Until VR gets into a physical altercation or spits on a co-worker, I'm not hearing chit about her "antics". Outspoken black people get the worst reputation. All those damn divas on YR and we want to single out VR?! GMAFB!

MS and the other bitches needs to realize that a Dru return would be worth more to the show than many of the divas combined.

Anyone who might have a problem, Jill can easily fix that because making the tough decisions, as wrong as they may be at times, is orgasm material for her.

I, too, at one point was tired of VR talking about YR, but I've never ever been against her return.

She needs to return!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely!

Let them try that chit now. Jill will handle it!

I see only white actors are allow to complain about unnecessary stuff like money, airtime, & storyline. They are praise & they need to stay.

When somebody complain about injustice they are call divas & shouldn't be allow back.

You know, I also don't believe that Victoria Rowell was the big demon on the set that people make her out to be. She had valid concerns, but she soldiered through and never phoned in her performances. She also did A LOT more than she was required to do. She wasn't credited, but we know she had writing input in the Bill Bell days and she also re-wrote dialogue to make it more authentic to the black audience. She fought to have a black hairstylist, which is not as trivial as many think it is. Look at Debbi Morgan's tired ass wigs and what they were doing to Eva Marcille. When Debbi Morgan was on AMC her hair looked great. She was able to wear her natural hairstyles, weaves, etc. On Y&R they throw these wigs on black actors because they don't know how to do black hair and are too lazy to learn. When Eva was on the show she looked shameful.

Even if you want to focus on the end of Rowell's time at Y&R, she had issues and made the choice to leave. She could've easily stayed and bitched and moaned like these other actors, but she left. Other actors are throwing fits on Twitter and in the press and Eric Braeden and Peter Bergman punched each other out and still have jobs. Victoria Rowell complains she got spit on, about racism, etc. and she's the problem? The diva? I don't buy that because she did SO MUCH for her fellow co-stars. She also did a lot to promote the show. I think she was a team player who got tired of being disrespected and under-appreciated.

I still maintain that if a haristylist isn't well versed and talented in black, white, virtually ANY kind of hair, in Hollywood, they should NOT have their jobs! PERIOD. Actors being able to "get away" with stuff has always seemed more unpredictable to me. We now know that In the Eric Braeden / Peter Bergman fight that Bergman WAS to get fired, but Jeanne said she'd walk if they did... and it saved his butt. Dickson got fired for alot less than Rowell has done, so who knows.

Well according to Nelson, she lashed out because MAB had told him they were close to approving a return for her, but she needed to quiet down on Twitter. So he tried to call her, but couldn't reach her and left a message telling her to quiet down. She apparently took his message the wrong way and thats why she was lashing out on Twitter saying that one of MAB's cronies was trying to shut her up.

Personally, if he did leave a message, I would've just said I need to talk to you and keep it brief. It's easy to misinterpret stuff if you aren't on the phone or face-to-face to get tone and to clarify. He should've waited, if that's the case.

I wish these grownass folks would get the hell off Twitter and start handling their business like adults.

Nor do I. Sure, her outspokenness might have rubbed some colleagues the wrong way. After all, that's to be expected from people who feel African-Americans should "know their place." However, aside from the "spitting incident," none of VR's complaints (which were all legitimate, by the way) reached the level of holding up production, and that should be the bottom line.

Giggly Heffa Stafford states she doesn't want to work with certain actors or characters? Not certifiable.

Jess Walton walks off set when she is told she has to take a pay cut to remain on the show? Not certifiable.

MTS uses twitter to get fans to help her keep her job? Not certifiable.

Eileen Davidson whines to the press about the writing & being fired? Not certifiable.

Daniel Goddard pathetically begs fans to help him keep his job on twitter? Not certifiable.

Tonya Lee Williams rarely protests & does her job? Not ever written for.

Veronica Redd rarely protests & does her job? Not ever written for.

Bryton James does his job? Probably fired.

Davetta Sherwood does her job? FIRED.

Kristoff St. John mildly protests & does his job? Almost fired.
