RC must have a thing for sleazy producers. This Trey guy, and remember Ford's initial s/l and of course Ausin Peck's character on OLTL.

Just lazy writing. I think they believe they are being clever and making some great meta statements on the industry, which was probably original back in 1965. It's also a way to get a cheap thrill out of "Cartini's" favorite pasttime - exploitation of women.

The new opening isn't awful. I like the idea behind it but I don't care for the music and it would have been better if they took updated pictures.

EDIT: wow i just noticed there's pictures on the sides. Jen Lilley is there. This is a bit of a mess but it's nothing that can't be fixed.

I would like the new opening better if there were moving shots of the actors instead of just pictures from the ABC.com bios, I do like it though

New opening sucked, it didn't seem like GH at all.

Hmmmm. What exactly were they going for with this new opening? It's definitely too short but the music sounded so spacey and Star Wars-like.

It's 12 seconds long. Freaking ridiculous.

Ugh, the cast images RUIN it.

Aside from that it isnt awful.

This opening actually sounds kind of like a primetime police procedural. I think this is the show's new "crime drama"-type opening. Notice how it doesn't really show the hospital or even an ambulance. I think they tried to give it an opening that looks and sounds like something in primetime and not so much like the GH we've always known.

Seems like GH to me. It doesnt embody GH of the 90s and before but it seems pretty much in lnie with the GH as it is today and has been for years

Sadly, that chit opening is better than the show itself.

I liked the opening, I wish it was longer though bc the music sounded good and I am perplexed why Shawn is next to Liz but whatever. Someone said RC tweeted that there are 5 versions of the opening.

I can't think of another soap opening this cheap and pathetic. Why did they even bother to change it?
