Sorry CarlD. One of our rare points of disagreement. Ron never varies from his destination. He just makes a lot of pit stops along the way. He's going to get where he's going. But he will make many stops, smell many roses and explore many things on the way.

That is true for some of his pet characters, but the rest of the time it's just aimless. Beyond spending time reminding us how awesome his favorites are, the stories tend to just flit around (eg, Victor and Tea mostly having scenes about how awesome sexy cool they were, with little story point to this beyond the psycho of the month).

At first I thought he was starting a band to rival Port Chuck.

Ugh. I forgot Kristina's return was set for this time.

I feel the same way. For me it's because, as I mentioned before, Sam (whose usually the focal point when it's not Kristina) generally appears dismissive of her family or she comes across as if she's stuck with them. She keeps things from them, she acts embarrassed by them around Jason ("Oh, I'm so sorry about my mother. I'm so sorry about my sister. I'm so sorry about that!") and when they do call or visit to check on her, she hurries them off the phone or out of the door. Then once every six weeks there's a Davis Girls scene and she just loves them so much and is so proud of them and so happy to have them in her life... Which is why when she moves out the Penthouse pregnant with a child her husband doesn't know if he can love, she moves into a crummy motel instead of with her mother and sister who will support her and this baby unconditionally... because she doesn't want her mother and sister all in her business. Yes, I know, it was a CLEVER plot twist so she can be thrust together with McBain sleep.png , but still. It just further muddies things for me when it comes to my perception of this wonderful Davis Girls clan.

This is what I see they are given these sacchrine moments in time then Poof! With nu-Krystina I guess there will be more bonding as an Alexis fan I'm in the camp that loathed it when they shackled her to Sam.

I really didn't like the scenes with Maxie and the mean jail bitches. It was like they were trying to make it a serious and haha moment at the same time. Disgusting. Poor Jen Lilley having to deal with those day players getting on top of her and rubbing stuff on her face unsure.png

John is getting NOWHERE with his vendetta/case against Sonny. How can he stand milling around Port Charles making no progress, when he could be in Llanview with his wife and daughter making memories? I cannot stand how they have him & Todd smugly running amok around PC like they're the sh!t. What a [!@#$%^&*] joke.

I'm happy Brandon B is getting some heavy material to sink his teeth into (he's really doing great), but the direction they've taken Johnny really makes me sad

WTF?!?! Jason and Sam are bombarded by some reporter asking them if its true that Sam and Franco concieved a child during their honeymoon that thats the moment the show decides to play their song? WTF? Who the hell is in charge of music direction bc that song was so misplaced in that scene.

Seriously, WTF!! I was appalled. RC Cates really is out of the building. What in the hell was the show trying convey by playing their song during that scene? I didn't get it.

I just saw the Emma scenes with Patrick from a few days ago. So cute! I LOVED her owl print pillows. wub.png

Lindsey Morgan is pretty, but I haven't found how old she is yet. Anyone know?

People DID say LA looked too young--GH certainly heard them on that, didn't they? laugh.png

This whole thing reminds me of Alana De La Garza, who played Rosa Santos on All My Children in 2001. Rosa was supposed to be 17 years old, but Judy Blye Wilson ( ) cast De La Garza, who was 25 years old at the time and LOOKED 25.

Good for Jason. He and the black guy are the best looking of the group. Hopefully, this opens some doors for Jason.

As a "black guy" it tickles me to no end to read someone being referred to as "the black guy." biggrin.png It reminds me of my mid-20s when a co-worker of mine, who happened to be Greek, invited me out to a couple night spots after work a few times and her friends kept referring to me as "that black dude Tina hangs out with!" Fun times!

Would Jason, Sam and Franco warrant an above the fold, large font headline in the local newspaper. Would a reputable paper publish a rape story based on hearsay? Isn't it customary to withhold the names of rape victims in the press?

Sam's rape is a plot point to give Jason more pain. They timed that scene complete with the sappy Jasam scene to show how sad he is. The entire thing was ridiculous

Lindsey Morgan is 22.

Yikes, then she's actually a year YOUNGER than me (unless she turns 23 later this year--I don't know what her birthday is). Yeah, I definitely think she looks a little older than me, for sure blink.png .
