The quck pack isnt going to get a bad edit. production likes shane, dan, ian and brit. they have seemed to turn on dani tho.

I do expect pandors box, as does the quck pack. I would assume it makes dan/boogie/brit coaches and puts frank on brits team so they all have safety cuz she won that in the comp and allows frank to play in HoH next week.

and nobody in BB8 got a bad edit, honestly. amber was insane, jameka was a hypocrite. dick got a "creative" edit in being a loving father and being an !@#$%^&*] to proctect dani, but everyone basically got a proper edit, esp based off feeds. dani/eric/jess/zach/jameka/amber esp were the same on feeds as on tv, actually they did make dani seem a lot dumber than she was and less of a powerhouse. but all seasons compared, s8 and s10 got very proper edits, IMHO.

The BB8 edits were relatively accurate but also manipulative. For instance, the week that the show wanted America to target Dustin, they played a nasty goodbye message he left for Kail. This had clearly been filmed some weeks before, as his hair was before he'd gotten his head shaved.

They also did a lot of things like laughing at Jameka's faith, which they wouldn't have done (and have never done before or since, except maybe Natalie BB9 - not even sure about her) if she weren't against Dick.

A lot depends on how much they want people to see Frank as noble and unfairly slighted.

They laughed at Jameka being this deeply religous woman who would then damn people to hell, tell dani her grandmother is awful/tell dick his mom is going to hell and call her a bitch, etc. Jameka is one of those religious people when it is convient for her and the rules dont apply to her and she was called out on this. She and Amber saught out to make it evil vs good and the show went with it, much like in S6 with The Friendship, minus the obvious racial issues in that issue with Kaysar that was disgusting.

I loved Amber as a housemate. Her crying every episode was epic tv. She helped make that season for me even if I didn't like her

What a surprise. Right before Frank/Boogie were going to go up, there's some kind of twist in the house, involving the gumball machine. Britney says if it saves Frank again, she's going to just quit the game and let him have the money.

This is ridiculous. And for such a dullard.

Boogie and Frank were nominated. Yay. Go Britney! Shane nominated them but Britney is the brains behind Shane.

Bitter Boogie and his wife, Frank, are trying to turn Shane against Britney now.

Everyone wanted Frank/Boogie up (everyone in the Quack Pack), they were just surprised Shane agreed.

Since Britney is safe this week she told Shane to blame her.

Hopefully neither of them win POV so they can roast all week. Frank would save Frank and Boogie would save Frank.

When is POV played?

These idiots are letting Boogie and Little Orphan Frankie mindbleep them. Hopefully everybody who isn't Boogie and LOF will be past the drama in the morning.

Frank is just hot air. Boogie is the one they're afraid of. Britney's going to put it all on Dan, as she's doing right now. I won't be surprised if Boogie talks them into backdooring Dan.

I ordered the Live Feed. Only going to keep it for the 3 days free, so remind me to cancel before 11:15 PM EST on Monday!

Why is Britney spending so much time explaining herself to Boogie and LOF? She's safe.

ETA:

Britney is being such a whiner and wuss. She's been whining about Shane "throwing her under the bus" to Boogie & LOF, Danielle and now to Shane. She has good points though but what a bleepin broken record.

Dani may be crazy but I'm sort of enjoying her more than anybody else this evening. She's very balls to the wall which is the opposite of Shane and Britney right now.

Dan brought up a good point, Ian has been the rat but is getting none of the abuse for it.

A lot of game talk...

Everybody is desperately explaining themselves to Boogie (and LOF). WTF?

Boogie (+ LOF) confronted Shane first. They assumed Britney was his puppet master. He let them believe that to a point.

Britney was not happy and whined for a very long time to everybody with ears. Annoying. Boogie (+ LOF) assumed Britney was talking about Dan when she said somebody told them that Boogie (+ LOF) planned to target Shane and Britney ASAP. Boogie only remembers telling Dan. The more Britney refused to give a name, the more Boogie (+ LOF) thought it was Dan. It was Ian (and Danielle).

Dan and Britney are alone now and talking a lot of sense. They're like what kind of bleep is this (Boogie & Frank's handling of being nominated especially when Boogie was plotting the same move against one of them, and Frank the other). Dan did not give up Ian (while Boogie (+ LOF) were confronting and badgering them) and they're discussing if that's the right thing to do. Britney seems ready to give up Danielle who also dropped some info on her and Shane about Boogie's plans to target them. Brit doesn't want to give up Ian because he's been feeding them so much useful information. She's also questioning why Dan didn't tell her about Boogie's plans. Dan is resentful of Ian right now as [Dan is] Target #1 of whichever of the two stays right now and Ian has no issue with anybody while he's the one stirring the pot. He doesn't plan to give him up but he's going to tell him the bleep he's taking for him right now. They're discussing what Boogie and LOF will do if they don't win VETO. They'll try to rally the "floaters" against Brit, Dan, Danielle and Shane. They want to keep Ian out of any meetings so Boogie (+ LOF) will think the alliance is only Brit, Dan, Shane and Danielle. They're filling Ian in on the situation now. Ian's all in with them and very happy they didn't rat him out.

Danielle, Ian, Jenn and Joe (is that his name?) may turn on Brit, Shane and Dan if they're not careful. Jenn and Joe aren't part of the alliance and I think they may suspect what's really going on with alliances. They core four have not been including Ian and Danielle tonite in most of the meetings. Danielle was told to go away during one meeting.

Ugh, the rigging is just... reaching new limits. I absolutely despise Grodner and any of her fellow producers.

Big Brother should only return next summer with a complete overhaul.

    • After the slap it does feel inevitable - being arrested and thrown out right after her big win.
    • Yesterday it was Theo and Jada.  Today it's Chad and Belle.  What a mess.
    • I asked my soap historian GPT to help pull together the best available sources on Daniel Pilon’s run, and here’s what the research confirms: * Pilon played Max Dubujak on *Ryan’s Hope* from 1983–88. * He began appearing as Alan Spaulding on *Guiding Light* in 1988. * An academic source notes that he appeared as **Max and Alan simultaneously in November 1988 * His later-life interviews mention major upheavals, including losing his home in the Northridge earthquake and declaring bankruptcy in 1994.  That’s the factual foundation. Now for the human side of it. I’ll admit Pilon was never my favorite Alan. The Spauldings are supposed to have that patrician, Midwestern money vibe, and suddenly here comes this very European-sounding gentleman sweeping into Springfield like he wandered in from a different soap entirely. It created a strange tonal shift, at least in my memory. Whether he was intended to be temporary is hard to pin down, but honestly, looking at what he was dealing with in his real life, I don’t know that the show ever had a truly stable window to figure it out. He was going through marital strife, while being talked about as the "next James Bond" back in Canada, and juggling work on two soaps at once is a lot. Under those circumstances, the question of whether he was the “right” type for Alan becomes almost secondary to the fact that he was working through multiple emergencies while stepping into one of GL’s biggest roles. So for me, the story of his Alan isn’t just about casting fit. It’s about an actor navigating chaos and the show adapting on the fly. Also, the proverbial soap hill that I would defend its honor, is that Ron Raines in the final week was so amazing, that for me, it erases all prior memories of his performance.
    • I wish Nicole had swallowed but it is what it is lol
    • You're probably right, but it's such a mistake to have Dani return to Bill. I do not want that. I like Bill, but that's probably because he's so much better than his garbage wife. Having Dani take back the guy who NEVER stopped cheating on her during their marriage would be a terrible mistake.  Yes, it's a mistake I can see Dani making. That doesn't mean I want to see it.
    • That's funny, I totally didn't think about the possibility that they'll pin this on someone else.  I assumed they'd just roll him into the water.  Obviously, I would not make an ideal hitman. I hope it's not Laura.

I knew their booty call hook ups then being friends with benefits were so going to turn into love
    • Yes it does!! And neglect! They let it drop so long and so often it doesn’t really have much meaning beyond another recurring character killed off. I kind of agree. I don’t want Emma to be SA’d, but he was a creepy professor perv at first, and we could have higher stakes if they let him be a scumbag for longer. Even to add more suspects, like Gio punched his lights out for grabbing Emma innapropriately. Or even better, she punches him, then Gio does too. He had the potential to be fun for a bit longer. I always love it when they do a shooting in the snow on this show lol.

I went back to see how teen Sami even figured out how to sell a baby in 1993, and the recap is unintentionally hilarious. The exposition is so blunt it feels like the writers drafted it between bites of lunch. Suddenly there’s a teen mom named Karen who sold her baby through a shady lawyer, and somehow Sami just… knows this man and pays him with hospital volunteer money. You can tell they were trying to make the whole thing “plausible” enough, but also knew the baby wouldn’t be gone long enough to justify a real subplot.  I know one thing, if Karen had confided in Jamie, Sami would've never met Steve Miller. Jamie knew that snitches get stitches. Not to be confused with the horrific Stephen Miller, who was 8 in 1993. AND Just to show the audience how shady Steve the lawyer could be, he was played by this guy -- Character actor Terry Wills was cast as creeps on every sitcom in the 1980s.
