Someone on SOC suggested it should have been called &quot;Robin's Nest&quot; since Robin went on her first date with Stone there, she went there with Jason a lot, she sang there with Patrick, and went there to talk to Coleman from time to time. That would have been nice.

Exactly! It would have allowed her to have a presence still...Sigh, oh well.

Actually she and Patrick used to hang there a lot early on.

Anything that would've have brought on good story, been meaningful, been something to watch I learn not to expect on GH

I agree with whomever said that Jen Lilley reminds them of an older Robyn Richards. Not only look-wise, but how she is playing Maxie, she is feeling much more like the little girl we loved and rooted for and not the dim-witted twit of the Kirsten Storms run (which had its own endearing traits, one of which was not day-to-day watchability).

I came across this blog which shows how equally bad Oltl and GH were in the year of 2010(which people keep trying to tell me is the year when Oltl was on the rise of becoming the best soap ever) Reading about all this reminded me why I gave up trying to get back into OLTL that year and never watched a full epi again

2010 and big parts of 2009 were unwatchable. It's odd when you hear some talk about how OLTL was everything a soap should be the entire time RC was writing, that ratings were always better than AMC or GH, etc.

Yeah even though GH was beating them in ratings and AMC and OLTL were fighting back and forth for the same spot in ratings all year. Yeah 2009 + has been unwatchable for GH but also for OLTL and no one's ever denied that it was for AMC as well!

I was done with GH for a couple of months(didn't even visit the message boards) by the end of 2010. Right before that bus crash stuff started. The promos alone were enough to drive me away. Then I came back to see that Kristina and Brenda were still the whiniest, shriekiest, annoying characters(with major wardrobe issues), Abby the whispery hooker was still around, Puppy Dog eyed Michael was still trying to be in the mob, Jason was still a robot, Carly was still a bitch, Sonny was an ass and I rightfully tuned out again for a couple of months again.
