Members JackPeyton Posted February 15, 2012 Members Share Posted February 15, 2012 the past 20 years - in terms of staying power, char performnces, media attention, concerts, awards - top 5 no doubt is Madonna, Mariah, Celine, Whitney, Shania. Honestly, it doesnt matter much what order they are placed in, those should be the top 5. The only "newer" person who should even come close to bumping any of them is Beyonce. In terms of pop culture, Gaga already seems to be irrelevant, so why would they put her so high? And Adele is a big name right now, but that may be a flash in the pan. I was amused how they edited Adele and Lady Gaga's pieces down to about 10-15 seconds to fit in the Whitney Houston edit (some thoughts on her untimely death).
