I loved Doug's Place on Days ... didn't it morph into Blondie's when Liz took it over? Didn't GIna own a club on Y&R?

Gina did own a club, I believe. Isn't it the one Kevin tried to kill Colleen in?

Wasn't that more a restaurant than nightclub ?

ATWT introduced a disco in 78.I remember the YouTube clip, with about 4 extras jerking around to probably non-existent music. It was so lame.

Marland introduced Wired for Sound to GL in the early 80's.

Days had Jump! run by Pete Jannings. It was somehow tied into The Body Connection gym. Then there was Doug's Place.

Love of Life had Club Beaver Ridge.

A lot of soap venues weren't strictly nightclubs(too limiting) but more hybrid restaurants, supper clubs.

Also, the clip had the ATWT clip "going strong," at like 5 p.m.! The clip switches scenes with Nancy and Chris sitting on their patio talking before dinner, with Bob stopping by after work. So at one end of Oakdale it was, 5:30, and the other end it was 2 a.m. and the party was going strong! I love it when soaps try to be "hip," and they just look goofy!

I forgot the name of it but what about Ben's club from Sunset Beach? I think it was called The Deep?

I just remembered another one from AMC:

Wasn't there a dance club called Cyclops? Billy Clyde was involved with it, I think. And didn't Jesse own a dance club circa 1984? Was that also Cyclops?

Jesse owned The Steam Pit.

Santa Barbara had The Lair, which seemed to be a nightclub/bar/quasi restaurant.

Yeah, it was The Steam Pit. Thanks!

But wasn't "Cyclops" a club on AMC, too? smile.png

I think so. Sounds familiar, anyway!
