Look at that top 10, any reason why this year was filled with record low ratings and crap material? I think not.

Wow only 3 woman in the top ten now, all under 40 years old. Of the seven men the majority, 4 of them, are over 55? Actually aren't 3 of them over 60 now? This show is now being written by old men for strictly for themselves.

Does CBS / Sony not realize that men over 50 are watching cable news, espn and other sports channels? They aren't going start watching Y&R.

Just two questions:

- Are Melissa Claire Egan's appearances on contract? Because she was not listed with the main cast in the closing credits. I think I read somewhere she was a guest end and would become a main cast member when she gets back full-time in January?

- Hadn't Kevin G. Schmidt been let go as Noah? I think his only December appearance should be listed as a final airdate.

I don't know why they didn't add Egan since apparently she was under contract. Same thing happened a few weeks months when Branson returned and wasn't in the credits for like three weeks.

As for Schmidt, they said he was returning next year. I don't know, really. I need to check the credits to see if he was removed.

I still feel bad for Natalie Floyd who was promised a big story with Noah and Eden but like the rest of 2011, it amounted to nothing.
