All the Dallas DVD's have been released. There were rumors that Falcon Crest Season 3 was coming out soon in 2012. I haven't heard anything about Knots. I'd like to get my hands on Once and Again seasons 1 and 2 but they are a bit pricey.

So 2 want copies..hmmm....how much to charge....lol...are you going back to Aussie Land BingCherry??

Actually not only are all the Dallas DVD's out, The movie collection came out this summer too. That was fun to watch and get. it had the three (includding the prequel about Jock and Digger) movies plus the Dallas reunion that did as a clip show in the real dallas house a few years ago.

I don't spend a lot of money on DVD's unless i really want them when they first come out. Usually i shop around. A lot of things i've gotten are used at a real cheap price but still work like new. but if you want something when it first comes out, i would shop around. I go to target, Wallmart, best buy...sometimes they will have a sale for just the week it first comes out and then it goes back to original price. I bought several seasons of Murder She wrote "used" at pretty cheap prices. Sometimes someone will already have it and then return it practiclly new but the store will mark it as used and you get it cheaper. (i've bought a lot of TV show season DVD's over the years so i know these things.)

The Karen W episode <<<number 2719 ( 6 March 1979)>>> was seen in a daytime to remember in 1997 some years ago, but it was edited and it wasn't complete. Could anyone tell us if the Soapnet episode is unedited and complete with all the scenes + closing credits??? THANKS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

I'll be taping a lot of them (I don't have DVR--crap). I can't wait for the 1987 stuff with Max & Gabrielle! I'm not sure I'll tape the 25th Anniversary one. Even if I could use the Max & Luna stuff to help me throw up whenever I need to laugh.png .

And the Todd & Blair wedding I already have, luckily!

I'm also not taping the 2005 and 2006 ones from my hiatus with the show, but I AM taping the two after that.

There's a few I'm still deciding on--unfortunately I have to worry about taking one of two TVs with other people in the house! laugh.png

I'm unexpectedly at work until 9, which is when this begins central time. I'm going to try and leave at 8:30-45 to get home and catch that first episode. This is dicey lol. I always end up missing these things. With AMC I only rememebred to DVR the second day.

    • If NBC could have for seen the ratings of Lovers & Friends (the replacement for Somerset).. they would have for sure kept Somerset on the air longer. https://jason47.com/days/ratings1976.html  (ratings for Somerset in the final year) https://jason47.com/days/ratings1977.html (ratings for Lovers & Friends short run...getting as low as a 2 rating).

    • I liked them, too, and was really disappointed it never went anywhere. The whole art theft story was ridiculous, but they had a nice chemistry. Certainly nicer than Alan with Christine. With her, he looked like the funny uncle. The worst thing they did to Bolger, IMO, was having Phillip write that DREADFUL novel and dramatizing it while he wrote it. GAG, that has to be in the running for one of their worst storylines that didn't involve wacky things like clones or time travel. Soaps rarely do school storylines, or don't do them for very long. Not the case so much in the early days of soaps, but after GH took off in the late 70s other soaps took their lead and would catapult teens/young adults into adult stories right away. That's one reason Phillip and Mindy ended up with so many ex-spouses--they started getting married really young. They shipped Dina and Cameron off really fast after high school and stuck Alan Michael in a marriage storyline with Harley. Did he EVER go to college? I don't think so. It may also partly explain why Quint and Annabelle had to go, beyond TPTB wanting to do a cast sweep. Teaching is not a profession that plays well on a soap. Quint definitely had to quit being Indiana Jones, because that wore thin really fast, but they didn't do him favors by making him a professor. If they wanted to keep him, they should have done what they did with Amanda (who was in another dead-end soap job, concert pianist)--have him work at Spaulding as one of the major stockholders.
    • Judith McConnell (Augusta) and Denise Alexander (Lesley) were great screen partners on GH.  They got into some stellar arguments in character in the medicine room.
    • He also commented that Brad knows that fans are sick of the constant fake deaths on this show: Finn, Sheila, etc and that it's hard to take this seriously if it's another fake death

    • I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam. He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
    • I think we all will, isn't that how soaps work? lol
    • ^^ I'll believe it when it actually happens.
