30 and 18, is NOT as icky as 50 and 22 like Bill & Steffy! lol!

I think it works for me because JY still doesn't look 30. It should probably be Bev/Thomas, but I'll take Bev/Rick. I just want her to grow into a force to be reckoned with the way Brooke did over the years. I mean, if she manages to last past 6 months, of course.

Isn't it though? And he is being entirely wasted on this show as backdrop for the interminable Hope/Liam/Steffy/Thomas quad. Why bring on JY if you're going to take 4 months to 'ease him in'? I don't see a viable storyline for him here-- doing a Beverly/Rick/Amber triangle doesn't do anything for me at this point. Portraying Rick for JY has to suck compared to JR. And yet he's still doing his best to actually act the few lines he's given. I would be thrilled if they'd do a cross-over and bring Missy Egan over to BB. I'd bet those two would still have chemistry even portraying different characters. I don't see any good romantic pairings for Rick on BB right now. The only one who would be his acting equal is Heather Tom and they're related...

The problem with B&B is they only write for a few people. Once they burn through story for a character, that character is left to die. I think they washed their hands of Rick after the Kyle Lowder disaster years and they probably only brought him back because they know Jacob was popular on AMC, and also there are the ties to Amber, since someone in the Bell family seems to need her to be on their shows even if it means her replaying old scripts from the Clinton years.

Maybe they should have Rick produce a Project Runway type show and fall for one of the models, who turns out to be some enemy of Steffi's or something (if Steffi is involved then Brad Bell may be more likely to write a story). Steffi could be the Klum-esque host, only with more bitchiness, and Jackie could be the Nina Garcia, perhaps with more alcohol. Jim J. Bullock could be the Michael Kors.

Beverly comes across very immature and childlike though which is the biggest problem. Steffy comes across more mature and holds herself better which is why I find the pairing with Bill more tolerable despite the age difference. Beverly appears to be way too fragile and out of her league dating a grown man like Rick. She needs to stick to someone closer to her own age

I like the way Bev stood her ground with Amber. I wouldn't call Bev immature---but fragile.

Since when has Taylor become a Hope fan? Six weeks ago, she was calling her (basically) an immature brat who had no business being in a relationship. Now that Thom's interested, she should jump on that and "let him heal her"? *eyeroll*

At least Rick still remembers Thom's got issues. Even Brooke's apparently forgiven and forgotten Thom's inappropriate behavior.

Brooke's capacity for forgiveness is out of this world. But if she can forgive Stephanie after everything that woman has done to her over the years then forgiving Thomas should be as easy as a walk in the park.

If Rick is in his late 20's early 30's -- then how old is Amber supposed to be?? I was glad to hear him tell Beverly that Ambs used to be his babysitter back in the day and took advantage of him although he forgot to mention little Eric. Ambs is old enough now to be a couger. whistling.jpg

Amber is in her early to mid 30s. I would say he's about 30-31 and she's like 33-35.

I agree, I like that she stood up to Amber. But I love me some Amber, so I'm obviously rooting for Rick/amber.

As I remember it....Amber was less Rick's "babysitter" and more Bridget's. Rick was a teenager already. Amber didn't supervise him as much as he just hung out at home while she was around.

Why can't Steffi simply lure Liam back to their suite and sex him up for the next couple of days? They are supposed to be on their honeymoon, after all. Instead she's acting like Lucy Ricardo, pratfalling and running around in huge hats.

Wasnt she also hired to drive him around as he was too young to drive and go places himself?

Could be. It's not as though she was making him PBJ's.

Where were the last couple of episodes shot? The show looks amazing, and that is a really beautiful location shoot. The other shows look like garbage in comparison.
