Received my James Stenbeck DVD in the mail today. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee......I have skimmed through all the episodes and I do mean skimmed through and this DVD is hands down the best release so far. It even beats out the first 20 episode release. So many characters are featured in the episodes. Some who were on other networks/soaps..some OLTL future stars and AMC ones too. This is the DVD to get.

And Andrew kavovit....damn....so darn cute/hot...lol...and he still is now...what is he in hs 30s or my age now......wish he would have never left the role of Paul. I'd love to see him on TV again. By far the best Paul.

I can't say enough about this DVD.

Roger, please try and track Elaine Princi down and interview her for We Love Soaps. I met her many times and she is a lovely lady. Thank you for including the episode where Bob and Miranda marry on the latest dvd. While they weren't a popular pairing, it was great seeing her. Elaine had several great soap roles. A little known fact is that Elaine was an extra on OLTL in the very early 1980's and she was told that she would never get a contract role on OLTL because she looked too much like Robin Strasser. Oh the irony!

I've seen the first 4 episodes of the James Stenbeck DVD. A lot of Jeff.....I like Jeff...he reminds me of Tom Hughes...speaking of...not sure which episode it was but Justin Deas looks fing hot! I love the rivarly between James and John. I floved the 81 episode when John got the upper hand with James. Love seeing Gunnar again as well. I am midway through the five episode and Miranda and Bob are dull as dirt...lol

I had forgotten about Ariel...I liked her in the canvas....but dont care for Greta...well this one..I preferred the later one...the one that calls Em a whore....lol. I've noticed some sets that were still around during ATWT end...like Stewart house....Barbara's place....

I am paying attention to the credits....interesting who wrote what and who was EP at the time.....and the directors as well

I hadnt realized how boring Dee was...I remember her but man is she a bore...lol

I am on episode 6....Come fly with me.....love seeing young Dusty, Karen(who I had forgotten about) and Gunnar with HBS as Margo in the episode. I particuarly didnt care for Maggie, Lyla sister...how was she written out?? And I didnt know Ariel was still on the show till about 84. I enjoyed the remote in episode 5...and the starting rivarly between Craig and Steve. I'm not sure if the Dobsons continued the John vs James rivarly from the previous writers. What is up with Lisa's hair....lol...At first I thought she was Lucille Ball or Carol Burnett.....lol. I noticed that Paul Lammers directing was pretty bad back then but became so great during his later years on ATWT.

Oh dear....Kirk McColl and Bob Hughes scene...priceless! And a different Frannie.....glad we got Julianne and Mary Ellen cause this Frannie was so dull too....I am not sure if the Dobsons knew how to write for the younger set.

From what I've seen of Karen she seems like a very complex character. It's a shame she was later totally forgotten. Another one who seemed to be forgotten as soon as she left. It's strange at times to see some of the women like Karen who never would have gotten a look in by the mid-80's, as ATWT female characters were more black or white and much less fun.
