What was the first death you remember on a soap opera? Either natural causes, or accident, or a murder, whatever.

I've forgotten a few but I think the first I remember is Casey Peretti on ATWT.

Maria Santos. That was especially heart breaking because she had just gotten her baby back.

I might have my timelines wrong but maybe Ray Gardner on GH, or perhaps Susan Moore is probably more likely from GH. Then Dr Jerrold GH, Natalie GH..there were a lot of deaths thanks to their action stories. Packy on GH. Then on EoN I watched back to back murders of Nicole and that evil maid whose name I forget but she was just as mean as can be. The maid died first actually, making Nicole's a real shocker.

The first death I remember seeing for sure was Jessica Blair on Y&R but my memory is a bit blurry on that one. First death I saw that really shook me up was Daniel St. John on GL.
