He has had some strong moments, he just is not what I would call a consistently good actor.

He & MEK are similar.

When they're motivated they're two of the best in Daytime.

But when they're not (or the writing is horrible) they sleepwalk through scenes.

maybe you wouldn't but I would, but I think all will be cool with Jangie at the end. Debbi Morgan even said she knows Angie can get past this

Amen.

Oh brother. I haven't seen Zach in weeks. That [!@#$%^&*] is growing isn't it? Is that Thorsten's real hair?! Susan must be thrilled.

For God's sake... Is there NO High Definition YouTuber for AMC? If I'm going to watch this drivel, couldn't it be in HD instead of these low quality SD clips?

Thank goodness I'm a General Hospital fan.

Forget Jesus: TK's starting to resemble Jerry Garcia.

Yep.

Oh, please. Darnell and MEK eyefuck each other in their scenes. Can somebody tell me why Tad and Jesse keep calling each other "babe?"

I'll answer that... Dreamgirls fashion:

"We are a family... like a giant tree..."

I am too young to remember Darnell's initial run on AMC in the 1980's beyond short clips, but the general consensus seemed to be that he was one of the greatest soap actors in the 1980's and definitely the best African-American at that time. Since he came back in 2008 though I just don't see that "powerhouse" reputation of his on screen. I wouldn't label him as lazy or phoning it in, he just seems to be all over the map. He has had some strong moments, he just is not what I would call a consistently good actor. He's very hammy. Debbi Morgan clearly has not lost it... she's still one of he greatest actresses working in daytime today.

I think rehearsal, or the lack thereof, has a lot to do with that, Adam. Many actors in this industry have suffered as a result of not having as much time to rehearse and block as they used to.

Technically, Tad keeps saying it to Jesse but I don't recall seeing Jesse return the gesture. And hey, I'm willing to watch Tad and Jesse eyefuck each other all day long. Frankly, there's been plenty of scenes where I've thought, "Angie, gurl, you don't need to be there. They got this. Go on over to the hospital and let David break you off a piece."

The writing is a huge part of it too.

Tamara Tunie is one of the best actresses in Daytime.

But even an actress of her talent struggled once ATWT ended her affair with Marshall.

Word. Actors have enough trouble putting themselves out there for public consumption. Taking material that makes no sense to them and trying to make it make sense just makes everything a little more impossible.

I never thought of that, Khan. That's definitely a piece of the puzzle for sure.

Debbi Morgan gave a spellbinding performance. It was just effortless! I thought we saw the best of her in this episode in that scene before Jessie & Angie left for the park, but then when Angie got to baby Ellie's grave, dug into the dirt and cried out how much she wanted her baby back - WOW! AMAZING.

Zach is just a disgusting idiot, I think this is the worst he's ever been, tbh. He looks pathetic with his long, revolting beard, walking cane, and slouchy shirt. Just ugh. And why do they have to write him like this? Why couldn't we just get happy Zach/Kendall scenes until the end? I don't believe we've had one, genuine, romantic scene between them yet except for when Kendall first visited him in his hospital bed. This extra stuff is so unnecessary and such a waste. It's really nerve racking.

the walking cane! He looks like a cranky old man. Again, why is he back?
