The problem is Zach and Dixie period. THeir returns have been to say generously underwhelming. I mean we get one reconciliation scene with Zendall and thats it its like now back to normal. And same with Dixie..

I have to say while I find the Todd story on OLTL completely ridiculous the one thing they are doing right is playing the emotional beats of the story and I have to say the acting from most everyone involved has been exceptional. This is all well ho hum we have Zach and Dixie back now onto the next thing. If you are going to take the time to bring back so called popular characters from the dead, do it justice at least. Of course I think Dixie coming back for the upteenth time no matter what would have been a dud because its been done already how many times.

New AMC promo with Jessie telling Angie about the baby. Gee I wionder if they will play any sort of lead up to that reveal. I actually think they don't even have time to play the emotional fallout to that unless its that Angie ends up leaving Jesse. I could actually see that happening.

That would actually be an appropriate way to end JR"s stint on AMC and totally in character. And if JY wanted to come back in a year, Kind David arises.

Uh....Zach didn't fake his death. That little story was for Ryan's benefit, so that Zach will appear to be solidly on David's side, making it easier for him to find out how David ties in to the people who tried to kill him. If it appears that Zach is at odds with Ryan, Greenlee, Griffin, etc, it lends him credibility with David. Plus, do you really think Kendall would have been all "Okie okie. You faked your own death and let me and the kids suffer for months. Oh, well....onward and upward!!"?

They are so forced. the longing stares into each others eyes, the romantic declarations etc.

GMAFB! Why can't it just be sex and leave it at that? I'm supposed to believe they now have this amazing connection that has them making jokes about marriage and not being able to let go?

Dixie and Tad's Adam rant was just ridiculous and so out of place. Of course Adam has done his damage on JR (like they have) but it certainly wasn't the right time to go on and on about it.

Thank God he was faking it!

If I thought AMC were willing to really let JR cause havoc and "win", I would be throwing a party right about now.

I would be perfectly fine with JR dying since I'm convinced AMC's version of a happy ending for JR means becoming a good Martin and professing undying love to [insert name] CareyHo.

+1

Sarah Glendening is a sweetheart and so pretty in person....still can't act for sh!t.

At the very least, it'd make for a great cliffhanger - "OMG, JR crashed his car, is he dead?" - and it'd be a good way, too, to introduce whoever succeeds him (JR crashes the car, JR suffers massive facial wounds, JR's bandages are removed to reveal the new actor).

David can raise the dead, but he can't give SuLu more airtime?

I've said it before, I'll say it again: LB is not a HW. She might be great at breakdowns and scripts, but supervising an entire writing staff is simply beyond her level of expertise.

I am not sure its fair to judge her on this. She didnt have much to work with. But this Project Orpheus stuff is really WTF. And I am disappointed Agnes signed off on all this if she in fact really was involved in any capacity. But elsewhere I see people giving AMC kudos for this stuff which I don't get. But CarlD I think was the one who said he always thought Brodericks myth far outweighed her talent.

Some, if not most, of those people are probably happy just to see Dixie, Zach, etc. alive, regardless of how their resurrections further ruins the integrity of AMC (not that there was much integrity left).
