I liked MS better than CW as Nina, but it's two different characters at this point.  I thought MS had good chemistry with Ingo and RH.  In general I despise Nina, but I didn't think MS was that bad.  The character just was awful.

Her animosity with teacher Willow was more fun too.  But I would be fine with the character going away, didn’t care when MS was there.  And now while I enjoy CW, it’s a waste with this mess of a character.

Yeah, the character is a mess.  I wouldn't say it's the actor's fault.  Nina's backstory is banana's lol.   I don't think MS brought anything special to the table as Nina, but I don't think she was bad.   I can't see her in a pairing with MB at all though lol.

I could not tolerate Stafford's work on the show. Watros is a completely different character in many ways and the role is still pointless and a waste of her talent, but she at least puts out good work.

The fact that they flirted with the idea that Kiki was Nina's child, and now we know that Nina had twins has completely screwed with my idea of the timeline of her relationship with Silas and her coma.

My original belief was that Nina met Silas while in college.  Her mother Madeline did not approve of the relationship.  She slipped a drug to Nina hoping to frame Silas.  But, Nina fell into coma and was kept in a hospital.  At some time during her coma, Silas met Ava, they had an affair and conceived Kiki.  Although Ava told Franco that he was the father.

Now it seems like at some time before the coma, Nina conceived twins with Silas, then went to a commune gave birth, gave up the baby, returned to New York, and fell into the coma.

Is that new timeline correct?  Because I have no idea why she went to a commune? Or why, if she was involved with a doctor, did she not get pre-natal care? And how did Silas not know she was pregnant (a fact that I assume because Silas never asked Madeline about the location of his kid).?

I just adore Cynthia Watros but I cannot abide Nina Reeves! Isn't it always the way?!!

Never mind.

According to Twitter Liz was attacked in the park this week.  The scenes of her struggling to hold onto the park bench and then crawling out of the shrubs later are still harrowing.  I will always respect the writing team and producing team for not sensationalizing this at all.  It was told with a maturity soaps often glossed over, especially in the super-couple era when sexual assault was often played as an obstacle to the main couple being together.

Post got me thinking. To continue to tie the show to the hospital, the default occupation for any new charachter could have been hospital related unless story dictated otherwise

So everyone else is a doctor or a nurse and Curtis is a...detective. Even Sonny, the thug. Sus.
