I think it started in the mid 1990's. One time was cute. Doing it every year is annoying.

Thanks. I'll still take the Qs and their pizza over Kung Fu Chick's Thanksgiving dream episode in 2002. At least the Qs were characters the audience liked!!!

What was the best action sequence featured on GH in the '80s?

One that stand out in my mind is Luke running through the amusement park through rides and obstacle courses from the bad guys from one reason or another. Anyone remember where that is from?

Yes because I just watched it a couple of weeks ago.  It was from the oil scam Holly was in on with her family.  Luke & Robert  trying save Holly b/c I think her uncle and cousin were after her for not cooperating the way they thought she should.  Here's the link. Starts about 39 minutes in. Bert was after them, too so I think it was mixture of them dodging her family's goons and the police.

Watched the clip again. It looks like Luke was trying to get away from Burt in the action sequence. I think the other guy in the suit that Robert had a hold on was the goon from Holly's family. I don't think he was with Burt.

The remote in Puerto Rico was pretty great for action.

there was also a train thing in the 1980’s I remember being thrilling.

My favorite action scene from the show is the Claire Labine mob shoot out that hit Luke & Laura’s house (Laura, baby Lulu, Lucky, Luke and Sonny) Sonny and Luke’s club (Stone & Robin), and Sonny’s apartment (Brenda in the shower).  It used the action to move lots of stories forward.

Lesley is sorely need on the show, and should be seen regularly, DA's interest and health permitting. I'd rather see her than 99% of the other characters being rammed down our throats.
