I loved the Destiny/Nora scenes. Was Nora out of line? Yes! But MAN did I feel for her. She had me in tears, especially when she fell to her knees and begged. Huge lump in my throat.

IA. I actually thought she was being a bit selfish there. She completely disregarded Destiny's own wishes and made it all about her. Typical Nora

I agree that Nora was kinda selfish, but I did feel for her and understood what she was saying (how she would raise the baby and Destiny can see the baby anytime she wanted, how they wouldn't lie to the baby, and that the baby would be the only thing left of Matthew if he stayed in a coma). I definitely believe if I was in Nora's position, I would probably ask the same thing.

Maybe Destiny will have the baby and rest it on Matthew's chest and he'll wake up. Then he'll read a letter from Mona, oh wait... but I hope Matthew comes back to us soon. Are there any spoilers on that? This is already looking like a PP s/l, how many months is Destiny? It's so hard to tell with her, she's been staring at a pissy stick for weeks which were actually days in soap land.wacko.png

I guess it didn't bother me that much. She's a desperate mother reacting to a bad situation by grabbing onto the first glimmer of something good that she can. I think Destiny should consider letting Bo & Nora have the baby.

Sorry but I hate it when it's written like abortion is someone's ONLY option when it's totally not

Sorry but when does that ever happen on soaps?

Whenever someone's about to have an abortion it is always super realistic with the father rushing to the abortion clinic as the hero JUST IN TIME in dramatic slow motion to stop the evil woman from having an abortion, even if said father is an unwed teenager. Like I said, super realistic.

And it's not just soaps, movies too, Juno was like the most anti-choice movie I've ever seen my God!

i thought hillary b. smith was absolutely AWFUL today.

about the only good thing i got out of her performance is that it covered up how dismal the actress who plays destiny is. smith was way way WAY over-the-top to the point of being cringeworthy, and i didn't find a second of believability in it.

and i hate to repeat myself, but GOD, the girl playing destiny REEKS of "can't act her way out of middle school."

I love Shennelle Edmond (that's her name, right?). I love the way she plays Destiny. If she doesnt go to .comOLTL, she should go 'head over to Y&R as Sophia's long-lost-daugher or sister.

the actress playing Irene is AWFUL. I didn't like that they resurrected Irene at first, but I think it has possibilities... just not with this actress. If Kim Zimmer weren't already playing Echo, I think she would have been great as Irene

My theory (although, not having seen today's eppy yet, this could be off):

Todd (RH) and Todd (TSJ) are both Irene's sons - one (RH), by Victor Lord; the other (TSJ), by Mitch Laurence. And either Irene abducted, drugged and then confined Todd (RH) to that place in order to spare his life (either from Todd (TSJ), from Mitch, or from both); or, she concocted the identity switch with Todd (TSJ) in order to access Todd's (RH) portion of Victor's estate. And history will be rewritten (again) to suggest Mitch had hooked up w/ Tina in the first place after Irene had told him Tina was Victor's daughter. (It'd be awesome, too, if Ted Clayton had been in cahoots w/ Irene and Mitch, although that's not likely to happen.)

However, the question remains, why did Irene fake her death in the first place? My guess? To be with Victor, who had not died after all. (Forget what Dorian told Viki. The man Viki saw and confronted was her father.) Of course, given these past few days, it's probably safe to say Irene never cared as much for the man as we've been led to believe, and that her friendship with Viki (poor Viki!) was about as real as Nate's "diploma."

Unfortunately, KZ will have enough on her hands once (Ron and Frank rape history yet again and) we learn Echo and Bonnie Harmer, KZ's first role on the show, are one and the same.

Khan, while I appreciate your effort, this scenario is not scientifically viable. Identical twins cannot have different fathers. They start out as one egg, which then splits. They must have the same parents. Fraternal twins can have different fathers, but for the two Todds to have the same DNA they would have to be identical. Fraternal twins are no more genetically identical than two siblings who were born at different times, from different pregnancies.

They cant have the same DNA if they have different fathers.

I'm confused about Irene, how is she a Manning? I thought that was Todd's adopted name?

Todd was raised by Irene's brother Peter. She came on the show as Irene Clayton, her married name. Im not sure if her maiden name was revealed to be Manning back then or if that was added in the 90s when they did the Todd story
