Members passionsfan
If they broadcast the Daytime Emmys next year, I was just wondering, even though OLTL and AMC are keeping the same format, quality, etc., wouldn't they technically have to be put in that new web category like they did with The Bay, Venice, and the other web soaps? Members aMLCproduction
Not only that will LB and RC stay at their shows? Same EP's?
Members Scotty
Not sure about that, but both shows should still be able to compete in the regular categories because they are going off the air (on ABC anyway) after the period of eligibility had already opened up for next year's ceremony I do believe... Members jcar03
Eligibility period is currently January 1st-December 31st so AMC will still be eligible in 2012 in the current categories. OLTL will technically still be eligible in 2013 for the brief time in January 2012 it airs (there is no requirement on amount of episodes). After that unless they change something they will not be eligible. I'm not sure how it will work because those other web series are much shorter and the plan appears to keep the shows the same length.
