IMO, Randi is a blank slate. She's nothing but potential. She could be anything but not with Vasi in the role. I've decided to believe DV's tweet was meant to be a response to Hartley's.

I think she's beautiful and perfect as Frankie's recurring wife who makes lovely Ruth Martin-like appearances, but the fact is, a character like Frankie deserves more than that. He and his wife should be mixing it up on at least a Cara/Griffin level. DV hasn't really proven herself to be able to carry the heavy material though, but even when you have a stronger player like SK, that's no guarantee of s/l visibility, so...

ITA. THe only characters who can't or shouldn't really be recast are the long term vets. I love Cornelius and I think he's a great talent that AMC wasted but they can certainly recast Frankie

I'll be the first to admit she has no acting talent but since when has that ever stopped anyone from being succesful in Hollywood? She's gorgeous beyond belief, the right age, knows people like Russell Simmons. I think people like Denise Vasi or Natalie Colby has a bigger chance of having a successful post soap career than a Melissa Claire Egan or other talented actresses that has left soaps. It's not fair but that's how it is.

I will not be surprised if DV does extremely well outside of daytime TV. What she lacks in talent she makes up for in her looks.

So it's been 2 weeks since we heard the CM and LH had signed with PP. I think it's about time we heard about another round of actors that have signed on. I truly am happy for OLTL and I have been watching that regularly since July but AMC is my show and thankfully LH tweeted some positive news today about her meeting yesterday. I am keeping my fingers crossed we hear something today.

Thats true. She is absolutely stunning.And talent has very little to do with success in Hollywood. Its who you know, how you look, and charisma.

She hasn't done it, yet... And she's not getting any younger (she's in her 30's), so her "looks" will only get her so far... which, up till now, has been a recurring role on a now-canceled daytime drama.

Modeling may be her best bet. Spokeswoman, "Television Personality" even... but not "acting." There are no roles for her in front of the camera unless she plays a love interest in a music video... or a modern-day Jamie Foxx comes along and casts her in a leading lady role on a throwaway primetime show -- much the way he did with Garcelle Beauvais. Up until then, all she did on television was non speaking PRETTY GIRL parts. By the time she got Jamie Foxx Show, she was 30.

She's still in her 20s.

Russell Simmons is too old for slender siren ­Denise Vasi, some of her concerned family members are saying.

At 23, the nubile Nefertiti, who recently did a photo spread for Vibe Vixen, has been on the planet less than half as many years as the rap mogul, who is 48.

Denise's family is well aware that Simmons has a phat enough wallet to have built an empire for ­Simmons' recently estranged wife, ­Kimora Lee Simmons, ­another ­model he picked out from the ­catwalk when she was just 16 years old.

OLTL is sticking to its formula so I'm actually hoping AMC will make some changes. Those familiar faces weren't cutting it before. Maybe a few new faces could be good.
