AMC skit on SNL with Alec Baldwin:

http://www.nbc.com/s...-party/1358152/

Ok maybe I'm not getting it but what's so bad about this? Other than the way Susan Lucci and Erica were portrayed (rolleyes.gif) I actually thought this was kinda funny...LOL. I laughed quite a few times. It was more of a parody on soaps and not just AMC. Or maybe it's just me.

It's a parody of soaps that basically parodies a parody. I would guess no one on there has actually watched soaps. There was more than enough in AMC's last months to lampoon (Project Orpheus??). But then SNL hasn't actually been written in years. They just make it up as they go along and hope that idiots mugging for the camera and spitting out old catchphrases is good enough.

"OMG! Soaps do amnesia stories! And baby-daddy stories! And back from the dead stories! And characters get married a lot!"

That [!@#$%^&*]'s stale. Carol was doing it in the 70s.

I just didn't think it was funny because the chick playing Susan Lucci (who also does Miley Cyrus) didn't have a decent impersonation of Erica Kane.

I thought it was lame. I have no problem with anyone poking fun at soaps but I just thought it was a bad skit.
