Members Vee
I think that PP's first priority is getting the shows running cost-effectively by people who already know how to do the job. In that sense I cannot fault them for going to people like Broderick or Carlivati or even Passanante (gah) to do start-up. We have heard that they are involved creatively, and are much more focused on story and diversity than ABC was. They've apparently differed with ABC a great deal on how to do OLTL's final months, and what to focus on. I hope they bring in more new blood, and I think they will, but I can't fault them for working with some existing writers, at least to start out. This is a whole new platform. You have to start somewhere.
Members JaneAusten
The problem people are having with PP is yes they seem to be on the surface same old same old but they aren't giving anyone a sense of who they are or who they want to be. So far all I know is that they are a production company who produces 2 cable shows and is starting up an internet channel. Thats it as far as any confirmed information oh and that they have purchased the rights to air AMC and OLTL on such channel. They have no website(which to me is shocking considering they have been a company already for a few years and are building an INTERNET channel), we have heard no mission stmt from them, no goals, no long term vision. All we have heard are blips from a few actors which to me all sound like soundbytes. They may be hiring who they think are the "right" people, but their marketing and marketing message is non existant and they are allowing rumor mongers from the internet to speculate about direction based on these bits of info being heard. If they want to be new generation, take advantage of social media and setup a twitter account, a facebook page, an info only website, get people to signup for newsletters online. THere are some very inexpective cost effective things they could be doing to get their message out that is just lying there. They need a good marketer or marketing team to get their message whatever that may be out.
Members Vee
I think we can wait for the marketing message until at least after AMC's finale.

Members Jonathan
Now, she's NY based? Will PP move the show to NY, similar to how ABC moved the show to LA because of Budig.

Members Dana
AMC cast members are really starting to tell how they really feel. I feel bad for Knight for apparently feeling lost and even unwanted for awhile. Damn ABC.
