I am curious over the quietness regarding AMC. Maybe they really are just waiting until it wraps on ABC? Or there just isnt anyone on the inside well connected to leak scoops.

I think they might be waiting for The View or some place more visible to announce something and why do I get the feeling its just going to be that the same airhogs will be continuing and Lucci possibly won't be

I simply don't find (most) shirtless men all that titillating (yes, I'm straight).

Neither do I (no, I'm gay). There's Mark Lawson, of course, but that's about it.

lol

I don't get it either. Appreciating someones looks and appeal is one thing. Getting all hot and bothered about shirtless scenes, *shrugs who cares. And I am still in that key female demo. Oh well obviously people like us are the minority. And I'm not gay

Shirtless scenes bore me & one of the reasons I can't take most male characters on OLTL seriously.

I know people talk about FV turning OLTL into a porn or whatever, but I would never have even noticed the shirtless guys, if I didn't post here. I almost always FF the Ford brothers and I simply don't find (most) shirtless men all that titillating (yes, I'm straight). I've seen people on certain message boards act like having Steve Burton take his shirt off is akin to finding the holy grail and I just don't get it.

I agree with most of this. I mean, I do pay attention to some of the shirtless men, but honestly, you're right about posters making it more that what is.

On primetime and cable you get much more (t*** and d****) so a few guys walking around shirtless on daytime is nothing.

To each his own I guess. I don't see exactly what its supposed to add to the shows but then you see people eeing and aahing over it all over so what do I know. I guess more people like flash over substance. But then we are a society more obsessed with looks.

I can enjoy some shirtless scenes, but when it's just pointless beefcake and the man has no real appeal for me (and perhaps the whole meat grinder aspect of the way it's done lessens the appeal), I am not attracted. For instance, there was that scene where Cutter, greased up like a prize turkey, strutted around in tight black shorts. I was more embarrassed for the actor than anything else.

The thing is, it appeals to someone, that's why they continuously do it. Cutter has a decent body, but he has "noassatall". I agree they should just keep him dressed.

I'm sure certain people at OLTL were experiencing boners at the time.....lol

ERICA: "If you leave, I'll never speak to you again! You'll never see me."

NICK: "That, my dear, is precisely the idea!"

That never fails to crack me up.

It's a nice package, but I can't take Mo Rocca seriously lol

This is one of the best interview profiles of Susan Lucci I have seen recently. No new information, but very well produced by CBS News.

I just finished watching the interview. I have to agree it was a great interview but I think that when Susan Lucci host The View this Friday we will finally get some sort of announcement from her one way or the other. I am kind of nervous to find out for sure but excited at the same time. But I truly believe this is the week we'll finally know.

It's always rough when people forget these things are business propositions as opposed to cathartic vengeance sessions for jilted fanbases.

Preach!
