I still wish AMC had done something onscreen with Jenny/Greg/Angie/Jesse. To me not having Greg (or Mark) back one last time was an oversight.

Yes, especially considering they could easily get both as we've seen with their recent past appearances. Of course they still could make an appearance (i know that's holding out false hope)--they're not really big names, and while an even smaller name, none of us knew that the actor playing Sam would return until he did...

On Friday, September 23, THE VIEW will commemorate ALL MY CHILDREN's 41-year run with a special one-hour show, with Susan Lucci (Erica) serving as a guest co-host. The show will feature appearances by AMC's legendary creator and headwriter Agnes Nixon, executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers, and cast members Cameron Mathison (Ryan), Rebecca Budig (Greenlee), Vincent Irizarry (David), Thorsten Kaye (Zach) and Alicia Minshew (Kendall). Plus, THE VIEW will set the stage for a reunion of two of Pine Valley's most memorable supercouples from the 1980's: Greg and Jenny, played by Laurence Lau and Kim Delaney, and on-screen best friends Angie and Jesse, played by Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams.

The audience will be filled with devoted AMC fans, and viewers watching at home will get to see never-before-seen footage of the soap's final taping, never-before-seen interviews with special guest stars and returning cast members, an exclusive sneak peek at the final broadcast episode, and a special videotaped montage showcasing some of the soap's most memorable moments over the years.

Tune in to THE VIEW on Friday, September 23, at 11 a.m. ET.

I wish they could have gotten Taylor Miller and Peter Bergman too. But it sounds good.

Thanks but will a PP spokesperson be there to announce okay you love AMC so be sure to tune in here................. this site for details on how to get your future AMC fix?

I just find the lost promotional opportunities rather shocking.

The Chew commercials been NON-STOP. PP could have had a few. Hired Lucci to do one for them with a webpage saying check HERE for updates... and they have done NOTHING to really capture the attention of viewers.

I suspect that the first day The Chew airs affiliates are going to be slammed with telephone calls from people who didn't realize the show was canceled.

I suspect affiliates will also hear the complaints from viewers who DO know the soaps were cancelled for THIS crap.

Sounds good, but IDK...it feels like Greg/Jenny and Jesse/Angie are their "go-to" folks for acknowledging the show's history. Hopefully they highlight all of the show's long-running characters with the little clip montages and what-not.

Angie and Jesse are "on screen best friends?" Umm do they mean off screen, cuz on screen I'd say they're more than "best friends"

I think they meant Angie and Jesse were "on screen best friends" to Greg and Jenny.

Not to mention, Karen Lynn Gorney and Richard Hatch, Charles Van Vleet and Candace Earley, Julia Barr and Richard Shoberg, and so on, and so on.

Hearing Cameron Mathison and Rebecca Budig r both likely a lock for AMC 2.0. Like both actors/characters, but hope they bust up Rylee.

See what happens when you don't cut Cam-Cam and "Real Greenlee" loose? Julia Roberts dies and Sally Field loses her [!@#$%^&*].

Talk about a lose/lose situation!

(Sorry, B&S fans.)
