It just REEKS of hypocrisy and playing favorites and overall annoyance. It's the same ISH that made me HATE & LOATH Zendall in the first place & it's still coming from the same place .....their FANS! I always said I may have been able to tolerate Zen if it wasn't for the "neener neener ha ha my couple is the best" B.S> that comes from the majority of their fans. Just as I may be able to tolerate an objectionable opinion about AMC2.0 from them but we're not getting it....we're getting ...'It's doomed w/o ZEN'

Firstly, nobody needs to explain anything to "marceline" about these "fan wars." Mrs. Jenkins is long overdue her death by "accidental" crossfire, as it is.

Secondly, you are correct. It has less to do with "fan wars" than it does have to do with that woman spewing her biased opinion of failure all over this Prospect Park project simply because her obsessions aren't a part of it.

In my opinion, this pious Mrs. Jenkins approach this other woman seems to be having in regards to these "fan wars" is in direct opposition to her opinion when it comes to those crazy fans that give the sane soap fans a bad name. You know -- the ones who can't distinguish reality from fantasy. I guess because the craziness seems to agree with her -- for now.

I understand your frustration. I have it too. Trust. But what I'm seeing is that we have no show to talk about so people are just going crazy. Yes we have the doomsayers who for whatever reason don't want this to happen. We also have a contingent who's so in love with the concept of PP that they want to marry it and of course there's always going to be people who rather bitch about posters than talk about the show but in this case we have no show so people are rehashing old stuff. It's like Thanksgiving dinner where the turkey isn't done yet so everybody is just loaded up on liquor and pissed off.

But I guess I'll just have take your suggestion and sit up on the roof. LOL! It's kind of peaceful up here and I can hear the music from the park.

I don't think it is productive to be anything but optimistic about PP and online. There can be no denying that online is the future, and that even that is just the beginning of a marriage of TVs and the internet. Just look at the TVs being built with hulu, youtube and netflix built in. Then look at the networks and their continuing collapsing ratings across the board. Yeah, AMC and OLTL could stay on TV and paddle for their lives in a sea of 1.0 ratings, but this is something new that not only can save their shows but might show the way how to save all the shows. It's not guaranteed but it is a shot using technology that was not available to Passions, Port Charles or anything that went before them.

Well the mags confirm it this week: Gary Tomlin is indeed in negotiations to be AMC's EP.

Frank Valentini is now Brian Frons, hiring his washed-up unemployed friends with a track record of failure for a show he could probably care less about. Why didn't the oh-so-amazing and oh-so-visionary Frank Valentini look for someone like himself, circa 2002, on AMC's team, someone like Enza Dolce, to maybe let step up and take the reigns?

In all seriousness what real successes are there in Tomlin's producing career?

I think Tomlin is being considered because of his budgetary assets. I don't think he's worse than JHC but I am sort of bummed about LB. I don't know how well Whitesell would write for AMC or if his and Tomlin's styles would fit. I did like Days under their watch for a year or two and they were able to transition the show in some respects so who knows.
