Is Lulu going to burn down the whore house? I think that's awesome.

Brenda gets the line of the day:

Stop treating me like one of your stupid Ex-wives

Yea, the "Spencer" house got burned down twice by Spencer kids.

I thought VMG did a great job with those scenes today. "That Bitch"

Are we suppose to feel sorry for Lulu? Girl is an airhead. At least this brothel storyline is over and we got a Helena mention!

Soooooo was that Vanessa Marcil's last scenes?! If so, i felt they were very anticlimatic for such a big character! (Big meaning hyped/talked about etc)

I will say that "I don't like you anymore" gave me CHILLS and i don't know why. That was the best part of the scene. VM did a great job in all the scenes IMHO!

I loveedd today's show.

Well, he does a great Irish accent, and I liked him more as Irish than American. He had a great silent moment when he was confronting Luke and he was watching Luke poor the glass of booze and he asked if Luke was drinking. You could really see the pieces fall into place for Lucky as the wheels were turning. Because it is JJ they were able to have a nice moment with a flashback of Luke, Lucky and Sonny drinking. I think all these stories were enhanced by JJ's presence.

I have no idea whether or not GV can do an Irish accent but right there is an acting skill that was needed. TC may have eaten JJ for lunch the last scene, but that is because TC and JJ himself wrote it that way as a showcase for TC. I bet you if you told JJ or TG you felt Jane Elliot was the best actor on the show they would agree with you. I liked GV but it took for a half a second to see JJ onscreen, and then he was Lucky again for me.

that storyline was godawful so Id hope they wouldnt have gone there if GV was in the role, irish accent or not.Maybe not being able to do one would have been for the best as we got Siobhan out of that

Go Brenda. And now it's not "That woman" it's "That BITCH"

Oh wow, now Im gonna have to watch the show later on

It feels kind of rushed with Brenda leaving in three days. It's like she came only to Marry Sonny and find her kid, then she just left.

You know what i guess I don't study scenes that closely to notice the reaction of one actor in one second of one scene. Acting is never bigger than the story or the characterizations and thats all I feel when I watch both JJ and TG now is acting for the sake of acting with only hallowness behind it. Much of it is not their fault. Its the stories and writing.Fact is Lucky has been a loser for years as have the Spencers and the casting change just exaserbated that. Prime example is TG. I think his version of Luke is resting on the laurels of yesteryear. No matter how good his acting may be, I don't know many people who like or enjoy or find this version of Luke entertaining. Its got nothing to do with not moving on it has to do what's entertaining to watch. And I don't think the majority of soap watchers watch soaps for big character studies. I don't mean that to sound shallow but I don't think they have ever. And character driven stories is not the same as a character study.

On that I'll end it. I don't expect anyone to change their mind. we all have a right to our opinions. I'm just not seeing what value having JJ back has provided other than reinforcing the fact the Spencer family is a dreadful hallow mess, so diff from the days of Laura

For me its just whether I like an actor as a character or not.I have never gotten hung up on great acting unless it involves a genre or medium that capitalizes and showcases that. Theatre, independent films, and maybe more PBS programming.

It's to bad Javier had to go out like that. Good casting once again by Mark Teschner, Kurt Caceres should've been a keeper just like Josh Wingate. Both of their GH roles should've been different!

Glad Lulu didn't get raped. Those scenes were still hard to watch. I have a newfound respect & love for Dante/Lulu after this S/L. Really don't care about Luke or him working with Helena again, yawn rolleyes.gif

I need Molly & Morgan to be sent to boarding school ASAP.

The Brenda/Sonny scenes were dynamite. Way to go VMG! She was spellbinding.

I did. :) I mentioned it a couple of pages back. People are actually back to watching this show again with Guza's writing almost gone.

I always felt that Lucky was a three dimensional character that was trapped in writing hell. JJ and the writers finally seem to be on the same page on making Lucky a real character again instead of this perpetual screw up who will always pale in comparison to Jason and who was the son Luke (apparently) never wanted. Even if you loved Greg Vaughn you have to see that all Lucky was to Guza was a whipping boy and cuckold to Jason.

Lucky is still a cuckold to Jason.

I don't see anything all that real or three-dimensional about JJLucky. He is a saint, a precious little angel who must be protected, even when he tells Liz that she was only worthwhile when she was bleeding to death in the snow.

Lucky is irrelevant to the canvas now. Siobhan is an annoying cipher, his relationship with Luke is more disgusting than ever (Luke kills Lucky's son, brags about it, and yet Lucky realizes that Luke is the true victim), he has no relationship with Lulu. His job is mostly limited to cleaning up after Jason or Luke.

They tried so hard to get him out of Liz's story but this just further solidified how useless Lucky is as a character. Taking away the relationships with his kids that Guza sneered at, taking away the relationship with Liz...he was left with what exactly?

JJLucky could leave tomorrow and it wouldn't impact the show. He represents nothing more than memories of a past Guza and JFP and Frons have repeatedly told us were sick, pathetic, and destructive. He is an old family photo you wish you hadn't kept.

I did. :)

Haha, I see yes you did there.

Oh and I just saw Olivia. Totally FF'd that scene. Could care less what she's saying bc Im almost 100% sure it is irrelevant

Kristina thinks Carly is cool. Figures why the bitch is such a shameless airhead

THAT BITCH....go Brenda!

I'm glad the custody case is about to be over. If not, then spoiler tag it. Don't need to lose one of the few highlights of this show.

I'm also glad those idiots a.k.a. Molly and Morgirl's plan was thwarted all within this episode. Seriously? "Let's hang out with a baby recovering from a kidney transplant in some dark abandoned shack! Tee hee!"

I wish Lulu would've attempted to fight back. Punch him, kick him in the testicles... something. Make me actually question my pretty solid judgment that this girl is useless when it comes to all of her "I can take care of myself" bravado.
