John raised him, and Jack has been more of a father to him since John died than Jill has been a mother . He's "comforting" Victoria, telling her all this BS, trying to be "there for her" and "not passing judgement" on Billy, all the while hiding that he is the one behind the prostitute thing. What an old miserable goat he is. Yet ANOTHER lie/situation set up to destroy his kids life. Was having Victoria arrested, with child on her WEDDING day not enough?
