I don’t see what the issue is here? If Hunter wanted flexibility to have a break, spend time with family, or pursue other things then good on her. Not sure why it’s frowned upon with these comments. Today, employers provide hybrid and flexible work environments, which employees welcome.

So..I had no idea Shari Shattuck had a website and blog where she talks about Ronn Moss sometimes? Yikesssssss. Someone linked me to it. https://sharishattuck.com/

Some excerpts:

Reminds me of when my ex sued to stop paying child support for the last year after he quit his job. This while I’m the only one of use paying for college. I still have one daughter with two years left at University and he still hasn’t contributed a dime. His wife followed me into the bathroom at the courthouse to mock me in baby talk, what was there to do but laugh? The way some people behave is so crazy, no one would believe it if I put it in a movie. She followed that kindergarten act up with shouting out things from the gallery during the hearing until the bailiff had to order her to be quiet. I kept my tongue then too, but it was hard not to laugh. I mean, it was hysterical!!

 

Then this one:

My first two husbands didn’t bother to get me a ring. The first marriage was over in a year or so, and I was glad to be clear of it. An expensive ring wasn’t that important to me as a ‘thing’ to own, but as time went on with husband number two and I gave up career opportunities to grow, deliver, and raise two beautiful girls, I realized that it would have been nice for their father to have taken the trouble to maybe make me feel like he noticed the imbalance of that equation with an effort at making me feel appreciated. It didn’t have to be anything expensive, even though he could easily have afforded it, just having him put the thought into trying to make me happy would have been nice.

That’s quite some tea!!  Ugh! Ronns wife is a bitch…he doesn’t sound like the best either at times (though he always seemed like a nice guy honestly) but he’s married to a child as Shari put it. No wonder Hunter lost her sh*t with her and they had an actual altercation at a party at Ronns house that one time.

@slick jones and others: Surprise sighting - Rebecca Budig as Cathy in #1857 (August 1994), a very minor role in a campus scene with Dylan and Jessica.

 

EDIT: Do we know this actor? I think I have seen his face on various 1990s sitcoms!

      It definitely flowed beautifully. So much that I was annoyed when Vanessa/Doug because I wanted to get back to the party. I know it was intentional to build up tension and suspense. It worked. lol. I'm glad it was there in hingsight because it gave us that great conversation between Doug and Vanessa. Foreshadowing? And yesss!!! This episode was sooo old school soap giving beat after beat after beat leading up to the unveiling of Eva as Ted's daughter. And we still have plenty of fallout/aftereffects to work through.   Speaking of...Bill, Bill, Bill lol. Good to have confirmation HE was the scary lawyer.   I'm sure I will have a busy Monday, but I can't wait for it. I don't know what I'm looking forward to more. Probably Anita vs Silk Press Sheila tbh. And yes, I feel they will be matching each other 'blow for blow.'

      @AbcNbc247 maybe it is just that they've gone to that well too often, and I don't like when DAYS goes dark, but I'm OK with EJ abusing drugs, and just skipping the whole sobriety part. Side note: experiencing hallucinations of my son killing me would be enough for me to never want to take a pill again.

      Part of the reason that Courtney worked at OLTL was because the show had an actual character for her to play.  One that was somewhat different than her character on AW, and after the way she was treated over at AW.. it had to have been nice to be courted onto a new soap that actually valued your contributions.

      The show has finally figured out the correct scene to have at the end of the episode. The one thing I loved about the show today was that we got a pretty decent length scene of Silk Press Sheila at the celebration without any cutaways.  It reminded me of an old school soap opera scene that would run several moments (i.e. Renee's long speech going after the upstanding citizens of Salem on Days in 1983 before her murder).   I think Anita and Silk Press Sheila would be evenly matched.. she would be the one person that Anita would have to work to get the best of.    I do agree that Derek/Ashley were probably cut from the episode.. and maybe their scenes will be used in a different episode.  The scenes that were included (Bill/Hayley and Vanessa/Doug) had something to do with the scenes going on at the party.    Unpopular opinion:  I actually prefer Bill with Hayley.. .they make a good couple.
