Amanda: "What about Marissa?"

JR: "What about her?"

The JR and Amanda scenes were great, I love them as friends and I think Amanda's guilt and JR's complete lack of it, speaks volumes of just how different their respective relationships are.

Jane badly reading the flashcards on tv was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

The Jake and David scene was really good as well.

Overall, a good episode.

Overall a great episode, imo!

I've been looking forward to JR/Amanda reconnecting for a long, long time. I hope they turn out to be the endgame with Jake getting Cara and Marissa being with Bianca.

I was hoping Ben would tell Jane to back down when she was going on about how she ordered him not to talk to Erica! I get that he feels responsible for her daughter's death and wants to help her out, but she seems too bossy with him. It'd be nice for him to stand up to her and make her face how crazy taking over Erica's life really is.

Loved Erica's reaction to Jane's press conference. I can't wait for tomorrow!

Nah, he'll rescue and all will be forgotten. It's the nature of the D&E beast. I've come to terms with it. :D I just can't wait for her to get out, and for LB to get to play with them in all their dysfunctional glory! :D

^And when he took her necklace off, and she looked like she was thinking of jumping all of that. ;) He's got her right where he wants her.

If David/Jane have sex, I can't imagine how odd that must have been for VI/SL to tape. After all these years and not as D&E...odd.

Not diggin the hair lately. It looks really fried from the sun.

J.R. and Amanda are truly where its at though. Its too bad they waited until the show is about to go off the air to explore them more in depth again. I bet if the show was continuing she would get knocked up with the Chandler seed. After trying to hard to grow another Martin spawn, it would only make sense.

I think she is just being respectful to the Jake/Amanda diehards that have followed them since 09'

I don't think it's the [!@#$%^&*] s/l that has her complaining, I bet she loves the fact Amanda did JR. She prefers mess up Amanda over good girl. I think she hates how Amanda is being made to look like the bad guy of all this. And she hates that Amanda has to be crying about Jake this, Jake that...that can be exhausting & draining on an actress to have to read in script [breakdown, cry] you know stuff like that.

Chrishell is absolutely flawless.

This was suppose to be her exit s/l and seeing how Jannie isn't the endgame b/c of Killer Kreizman's hackery and the show only got MCE for a 3 epi. sh!tty wrap up. I wouldn't be surprised if the finale cliffhanger will be Jake back w/ Amanda but JR who will be alone is the father of Amanda's baby. Hence what Aggie said to the press about not everyone getting a happy ending.

Yep, CS seemed pretty pissed in SOD and SOW about how Amanda was now the bad guy and that just because Jake and Cara didn't have sex they are somehow off the hook.

I still would prefer JR ending up alone than with Amanda.

I pray Amanda doesn't get knocked up, why can't anyone on soap use protection when they are cheating??

    • It's so jarring seeing the changeover from Sherry Mathis to Louan Gideon.  The vibe, mannerisms, and overall personality of Liza changes instantly. The chemistry Sherry has with both David F and Joe Lambie is gone the second the recast happens.  I wonder how viewers took the news of the recast since you didn't have time in between airings before the change happened. Quinn/Sarah... One overacts (Quinn) and one under acts (Sarah). Wendy of 1985 is a good mix of the 1982 sweet Wendy and the 1983/84 vixenish Wendy.
    • Oups!! I guess when i was doing the editing, i left a part of 3169, too (RTL Lounge airs 2 episodes per day back to back). Sorry about that ! Tonight i ll try to record 3171-3172. If i m not mistaken 3172 is missing from YouTube.

    • I would put Felicia in the 'small dose' auntie category because she means well, but comes on too strongly at times.  In small doses, she would be a blast to hang out with.. but in anything larger than a small... she would be exhausting. I tend to prefer lower key people than people that are always 'on' all the time.  Those people can veer off into energy vampire status pretty quickly.
    • I didn't like the Harry story, but Nazar did have a great introduction. He was probably the highlight of last year.  Now that you mention it, I guess the truly dire stories (Nicole, Harper/Drew/Phil, Nicole) didn't start until summer.
    • thank you all for contributing to the Vault. I am slowly getting towards watching the 1998 episodes

    • I pray⏤and I know it's a big prayer⏤that Noel Maxam is somehow able to figure things out budget-wise so we can stop re-dressing existing sets as "new" sets. I know in apartment buildings apartments can generally look the same, but I'm over it on this soap. The last time he was executive producer was in 2011 when the original Horton Town Square was introduced, and we had some other sets get introduced around this time (likely pre-commissioned prior to his election), but I'm trying to have some hope he can pull this off. Let's [finally] see it.
    • Definitely not the best of RC's breakdowns. I don't know what it says that I could pick up his trademarks yesterday 30 minutes in without even knowing that he did one. There was something more...quirky/boardstroked...about Dani. Though I love the Dani/Nicole scenes, she was just a little too hip?...which made me think back to the episode when she broke into Bill/Hayley's house. Then watching the episode later on, I saw Hayley was being used as a punchline to the more interesting and relevant Bill/Ted scenes (see you all were just talking about how you hoped they got scenes...one thing this show is great at...what people want on this board...they already have the foresight for it. The reason I feel the DNA test will get mentioned @Cheap21 in more detail). And then poor Anita reduced for the most part propping up an album.    Needless to say, not my favorite RC episode. And since we are in aftermath week, I just smh. And barely worth a rewatch. BUT...was there good for me?    Yes. Thankfully, we still got good aftermath beats regardless of the breakdown.   Like I said, I really like the Dani/Nicole scenes. But I love their dynamic. And I was looking forward to the shoe being on the other foot once the SilkPress storyline hit climax. Quirks aside, it did not disappoint. Dani came in, and she came in fierce for her sister. I loved her attacking Eva. And then her being surprisingly introspective about Nicole due to her own experience. No wonder Nicole reacted to her being self-aware. So did I.    Meanwhile Bill and Ted finally met up. I'm kinda sad that we did not get that sooner given the scenes that played out sidepiece in the background aside. It might have been interesting to see more of their status as non-Duprees coming into the family explored.    And of course I can't leave without mentioning Eva vs SilkPress Sheila which was the highlight. Both of them were giving. And SilkPress was just so cold with it. I did love that Eva finally stopped letting her gaslight her. Sad to see the duo break up. But I did love that she went to Ted. So...the next turn begins.   And speaking of turns...uh oh at Kat and Tomas. I'm sure he won't be staying away from her. So most definitely, Kat vs Eva ain't over. It will be interesting to see how it goes now that most people know that Kat was right all along.
    • Nah I enjoyed it much more last year because of the Harry plot that ended during that time. Nazar being introduced and them. But this time it is so lame and nothing I like forward to anymore and I’m one of them long time fans. Of course I would be upset if they would cancel it but maybe take a year off or two and return refreshed
