Paris is such a cutie....I know she doesn't have a strong fanbase, but I'm so glad that she makes it through each night.....I really like listening to Chris sing; I would buy an album of his in a heartbeat... :)

I unfortunately have a feeling that Paris might be the one going home tomorrow; I hope not, but she's been in the bottom three so many times, I don't know if she'll be able to escape getting sent home :(

Wow did not really care for tonight's show at all. I like the billboard theme but the other theme of choosing from the year of birth sucked. I guess I am happy the theme was broader though.

Elliot: Horrible. First song was a mess even though he didn't do terrible vocally and the second song he sang well but it was very boring. Simon was right-he should be worried about his chances (especially with the title of last song).

Paris-First song was terrible and the second song was a little better. She had a nice vibe going with the Mary J. Blige song but it wasn't a great performance. It was just an ok one. She should be worried too.

Chris-His first song was incredible. The second song he strained is vocals a bit, obviously, but even without that I would not have cared that much for it. He still made something out of the second song though but I don't like him picking those "schreeching type" songs. He should be fine though.

Katherine- Her first song was awful pitchy but she saved it with a good ending. Her second song was unique, alot of fun, and she performed and sang it great. She should be fine-that second song was a great way to grab attention and votes. I never even heard of that song before but it was really funny  .

Taylor-First song was great performance-wise but he needs to show me more vocally then he did in that song. I appreciate him throwing himself into the performance but its getting annoying (especially tonight with him collapsing). The second song was ok vocally but very boring. Its actually my least favorite Beatles song. I think his erratic first performance will get him through because people like that but that is gonna be his downfall within the next two weeks.

Bottom 3: Taylor, Paris, and Elliot. I feel Elliot will go home but would not be surprised if Paris did given her past history in the bottom and the fact that she wasn't great tonight either.

I think that Paris will be the one going home tomorrow.....

To me, it's pretty much going to be Chris and Katharine competing against each other; My votes are going to Chris....I really was bummed when Bo Bice didn't win last year, mainly because I was looking to see a contestant with a rocker edge win....maybe this time, we will finally get our rocker... :)

Elliot: - First song was blah, "Home" was awesome! Elliott is safe for another week.

Paris - I thought she did okay, but she's a goner

Chris - I've said it before, The only range this guy could show is if he was a model on The Price is Right. It's either growling or screaming, and it's not sexy! He wishes he was as good as Ed Kowalczyk, Chad Kroeger or Anthony Kiedis.

Katherine - First song was okay, but she rocked KT Tunstall's Black Horse and the Cherry Tree.

Taylor - This is what AI is all about! He showed his fun side and gave a "performance" on the first song, and then went serious and showed off his amazing vocals on "Something" SAFE!

Katharine - first song wasn't very good. Second one rocked. I think I'm definitely in love, lol.

Taylor - I thought he sounded so much like Wild Cherry it was scary. But he didn't seem into it tonight. I dunno. Just okay for me.

Paris - Loved her tonight. I know I'm in the minority but that girl can SING. She has some issues but is very good.

Elliot - "Home" was good. On Broadway sucked.

Chris - the first song was decent. Second song was BAD. I'm really sick of him screeching. He seems to be phoning it in also. It's like this is all he can do. He rocked last week ... sucked this week.

Paris or Elliot is out. Just a matter of which one. I'm actually going to say (with huge reluctance) Elliot is out.

Chris Daughtry makes me moist. :D He was great again tonight. The first song was obviously better. Katharine's first song was incredibly awful! Surprisingly awful for her.

"Good night and good luck" to either Elliot or Paris tomorrow. I think Elliot's performances tonight were both very blah, but Paris has been bottoming for weeks now.

Chris was average tonight. Good but his usual boring song-choice self. I really want to root for this guy to win but he's making it so hard.

Paris was great tonight. I stand by that. But I am changing my mind. She'll be the one out.

A guy is destined to win this year. I frankly wouldn't be surprised to see an all-guy final three.

I think Chris was the best. Loved his version of "Renegade", I also thought he was good with Shinedown's "I Dare You". (2nd) Katharine was a little off with "Against All Odds(Take a Look at Me Now)" but I really loved her version of KT Tunstall's "Black Horse & The Cherry Tree", actually liked it better than the original. (3rd) Paris Bennett next, was pleasantly surprised of her versions of Prince's "Kiss" and Mary J. Blige's "Be Without You" (surprised that Simon said she screeched "Kiss" and that Paris sang the word "[!@#$%^&*]" in Mary J's song (it was edited out, but we know she said it). (4) Probably Elliott, liked him with "On Broadway", but thought Michael Buble's "Home" was his worst performance to date, (5) just because I can't stand his old drunk act, Taylor Hicks.

I like Chris and Katherine the most tonight, followed by Taylor and Elliott and then Paris. I just did not enjoy Paris at all this week. I liked both of Taylor's song but for entertainment loved the first one the best. Loved both of Chris'- first was his best. Katherine's second song was the best.

I hope Paris goes tomorrow.

    • Breakdown writers can pitch stories and obviously they have influence over what is included in the breakdown but MVJ is the final decision maker. It depends on the faith you have in MVJ if you feel Carlivati is going to be a problem. I don't think a throwaway having a book author named after him is a sign he's taken over the show. Most people didn't even catch the reference.
    • Tamara Tunie reading that damn letter is exactly why I wish this show had more experienced actors.

    • Oh wow. After reading your post, I realized that they had "Carl Ivati" in the script AGAIN yesterday June 6.    Eva said she was reading his latest, and Tomas said "Work's been so busy, I haven't had time to get into his new series". Then Eva proceeds to tell him that "the first book is called 'Mercy and Goodness' and it's all about how the couple first met and how they got separated".   She goes on and on about how great it is. And she says she has the book in her hotel room if he wants to borrow it. She says it has twists and turns. And meanwhile Kat is snooping in Eva's room to look for the helmet and gloves, and finds the book and dismisses it as "basic". I saw that whole scene -- but I wasn't paying attention to the name of the author.  And when Tomas said the name, I heard it in his accent so I didn't hear "carlivati".  II was mainly trying to see if the acting had improved with the actor playing Tomas, and I think he has improved somewhat.   I only see it when typed out. So they had several scenes yesterday about a "Carl Ivati" book?  Barf! Well at least Kat had the good sense to dismiss it as "basic". Ron Carlivati wrote the breakdown yesterday!   Featuring himself in it! Addressing to the collective "you" whoever you may be: Some of you, months ago, said Oh Ron is only doing breakdowns.  The story comes from MVJ, so he won't influence things, you said. May 27 started it, with Christopher Dunn breakdown and Lynn Martin script. But they didn't need to continue it June 6 with Carlivati breakdown and Jazmen Darnell Brown script.
    • I was completely lost. But it is wonderful that it exists. I didn't really know Robert Mandan had done soaps...well, besides SOAP.
    • Jack and Jennifer are tired. I just don't care about them when they return. They add nothing to the show.
    • Did they really bring back Jack and Jennifer for Jack to prop up Leo and Jenn to serve as an obstacle to Chad/Cat? Are we sure Ron still isn't in the building?
    • We can only hope that they finally kill off Leo too
    • We can only hope that maybe the new writers might read this.
