Does Bree Williamson have a BRIGHT FUTURE outside of OLTL?

She has absolutely no acting talent, but is quite pretty so yeah, she might be able to get some prime time work.

Frankly, I don't think they've ever made her, b/c they know how limited she is as "just Jess." Unfortunately, what used to be her only strength (Tess) has become more of a liability.

At this point, they could kill off Jess, give Erika Slezak one last, good Emmy reel, and I would be totally satisfied.

That's also what I'd like to see. Jess commits suicide and then have some strong scenes with Viki, the family, and Megan.

She's a typical successful soap actress: very pretty and charismatic, but with a very limited range. All the soap tricks she's learned over the past decade won't serve her well in other genres. I could see her winding up on Y&R or B&B. The Emmy nom means absolutely nothing. None of the younger actors and actresses on OLTL, or AMC for that matter, are particularly talented. Many have the soap charisma factor, but as for any raw talent, I don't see it.

I kept hoping she'd leave so we can see Erin Torpey tackle adult Jess again.

So have I. I'd give almost anything if they'd get Erin Torpey play RealJessica to the end. All they need to do is make Brody Ryder's daddy and insta-cure Jessica, complete with the annihilation of Tess, Bess, Wes, Mess, Less, LochNess, and whoever else Ron's put in there so she can just be Jessie from now on. We don't need any fancy explanations for how she got better so fast since the story doesn't make any sense anyway, just end it FAST.

Oh and Jess really should be re-Buked while she's insta-cured. Aside from one episode in which Slezak and VerDorn gave absolutely devastating and magnificent performances playing Viki and Clint watching the video of Jessica being molested so they could discover why her psyche shattered, the entire retro-write of Jessica's childhood has sucked from day 1 and gets worse every time we're cursed with another Tess & Co. appearance so disappearing the alters and re-Buking Jess would set things somewhat right. Plus, the sweet and sincere mom/daughter vibe Torpey and Slezak give off is something Williamson's never had with ES.

RoseVioletDaisy I haven't seen you post here in quite a while. It's nice to read your thoughts again.

maybe they should say when Jessica left town in 2003 to go to London, Mitch had her switched with an imposter and ET can come on as real Jessica with this DID mess having fooled the entire town the last 8 years. It looks like it may not be the first time this has happeend to the Lord family

Ya'll are harsh. Bree can act. Plus she has the inflated lips that make her a shoo-in to play Naomi's long-lost other sister on 90210.

She's the best actress on the show in her age group.

That isn't saying much.
