1983. They were gonna keep Karen & Cast Christine Tudor but decided that the audience may have issues with it. So they brought back Steve Briefly and he ushered Karen out of Llanview in Feb 1983

I didn't know that, either! I DO know her dad, Nat, was on the show near the beginning of her run, though. I think he was a scientist.

Until Cutter and Kim became her kids (which I didn't mind that much; although I kind of liked that she was one of the few women on the show not to have kids--she even had her tubes tied at one point!), that was her only family member ever on the show.

...Except her sister, apparently.

I was thinking that Lisa and Alex were sisters. Lisa, though, may have been a ward of Alex's. I do know that they lived together.

This was when Bo and Cassie were engaged, but Alex wanted him.

Gee, how many women had the hots for both father and son (Asa and Bo)? Of course, Bo and Clint shared women as well (most notably Nora and Lindsay). Asa and Clint didn't have any mutual love interests, did they?

At one point, Dr. Dorian Lord decided that she was the right woman for Asa. At another point, she slept with Clint.

I see! I'm surprised that neither Asa nor Bo ever went after Viki!! (Though I heard once that Bo was considered as a potential love interest for her early on.)
