Level Rambin on AMC “the most toxic set I’ve ever been on”

I’m real curious as to which men she’s referring to…

Putting her in a romance with an actor over ten years her senior - a number of actresses like Sarah Polley (not from AMC just in case someone points that out) have spoken about their regrets over being put in those situations.

I'd say most movies or shows now wouldn't put an actor her age, or Mick Hazen's age with what he played on ATWT, through that, but given the big rollback on any basic decency we're seeing, who knows.

I can believe that AMC had become as toxic off-screen as it had on.

It was obvious in that period that Frons, McTavish, etc. were also leaning on Lily to replace Bianca as the new young 'heart' of the show - for an interval of time she even had Bianca's slot as the final falling picture in the opening as the theme wound down, before Erica and the book. It just seemed bizarre to me. As did having her play a promiscuous wild child twin of Lily.

There were stories in those days about Rambin being wild, a NY party girl, etc. That may have all been slander or it may be to a degree true, but that doesn't change or invalidate the fact that she was a very, very young girl put in an ugly spot on a daytime soap opera during very misogynistic times.

Like you've said on several occasions, "Both of these things can be true."

In 2007 every single actor was shut out from the Daytime Emmy nominations except one

Level Rambin was the sole acting nominee from All My Children at the Daytime Emmys in 2007

Every single cast member from AMC was shut out that year (2007)
