Where I read about Andy Cohen having Susan on must have been a mistake on the part of the website. That was disappointing.

There is a yahoo email group for Ryan's Hope. It used to be very active, (still get the emails now but infrequently). I wonder if people will go to that as you can archive stuff in the group like transcripts.

That's what I'm thinking too, hopefully it was just a scheduling conflict.

Frons has to be PISSED that she keeps dropping the "reality show that's going to cost 40% less to produce" bomb in EVERY. SINGLE. INTERVIEW. that she possibly can. That has to chap his ass in a major way. I just hope he didn't ban her from Andy's show because Andy would really get down to it with her.

Andy needs to devote the whole show to her. Susan deserves it. Andy deserves it. He'd just gush and gush and gush.

This may be late but here are my solutions on how amc/oltl could have been saved:

1) Make each show 30 mins instead of an hour long

2) Cut the cast down by a half-three fourths

3) Have each show be an hour long coming on only once a week instead of 5 days a week

4) Give all abc soaps a soap season for example instead of coming on year long the soap season could be from jan.- Aug.

5) A variation of all 4 of my suggestions would save abc a ton of money, yet cancelling the soap was the best answer.

I LOVE IT. Love, love, love it. This is exactly the type of stuff she needs to be saying. Make sure everyone in the industry who cares knows the truth before ABC can come in with their BS spin. The second I hear that "viewers are captivated by [that food program]," I will lose it. But I can at least rest easy knowing that SuLu is getting the truth out there.

Agreed. And for all the haters who keep whining about why is Susan Lucci getting all this attention this is a perfect example of why. She knows how to play the game and come out looking like a queen not a bitch. Strasser, Hickland, McClain are all smart, gutsy women but they can't/won't play the game and that's fine. But the people who jump all over SuLu for not acting like a raving lunatic need to STFU and take their pills.

This is funny lol and she seems really genuine about it, I'd love if they brought her on as some random character. To get her & Kendall into a scene together the show should hire SMG as Fusion's new receptionist (which that company desperately needs, what with that phone ringing all the time and NO ONE ever answering it). Kendall can be the one who hires her and maybe she could end up regretting it after her behavior on the first day or something ;-P

:( The first boards I ever joined & posted on. I used to have so much fun over there especially on the crazy GH board where something was/is always going on...LOL. But the SN AMC board was my home base. I don't visit SN as much anymore though because it's increasingly turned into a hot mess, especially when the mysterious out of nowhere bans started happening.

SOAPnet isn't ending for over a year now or something so this has me thinking WTF?! Makes no sense & it's so condescending of them to let the posters know only 10 days before the board is going to shut down. I think/guess they're doing this cause of all the protesting/negative comments towards ABC over there...lol I have to admit it was getting out of hand.

    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
