I knew he was courting MMT again. God. That would have been horrible. Thank you god that she's not writing the end.

Though, man, that crazy b*tch was absolutely brilliant with David/Erica. Figures!

n the 90's? I know she was behind the Sonny & Alexis sleeping together which IMO damaged the character of Alexis ALOT

Sleeping with Sonny didn't 'damage' Alexis. What Guza chose to do to Alexis when he took over a few weeks after Sonny and Alexis slept together? THAT was damage. Guza was a vindictive SOB from day one.

I was one of the few who really liked McT's version of GH, especially compared to the misogynistic cesspool it turned into when Pratt & Guza took over.

Did anyone beg for movie stars to come to Soaps?

I think the only people who begged for stars were Brian Frons and (maybe) Bob Guza - and they wanted them so they could feed their inferiority complex.

Thanks. I actually liked GH at that time (sans Stavros), it brought me SKye and Jax

I thought Alexis and Sonny sleeping together was right on point and didnt destroy her character, what Guza did afterwards with the Brenda return, destroyed her and a lot of other characters imo

First Airdate for AMC's New Head Writer

By SOD • Posted: Apr 27, 2011

June 27 is the first day AMC Head Writer Lorraine Broderick's material will hit the air, a show rep confirms. Show Creator Agnes Nixon will work closely with Broderick to map out the final months of storytelling for the show, which is slated for a September finale.

That's so late! Only about 2 1/2 months of her work will air!

Uh yeah actually it did, she threw all her morals out the window and became just another notch on Sonny's bedpost.

Alexis never had a lot of morals - she often did what she wanted and justified it. The Dobson stuff damaged her more than the sleeping with Sonny, IMO.

So many things did, the Sonny stuff was just one part of it.

Wow that's awfully late for LB's work to start. Is that right? I'll LMAO if Richard from SID comes out and says they're wrong AGAIN

LMFAO at all the people elsewhere who have been giving LB credit for weeks. ;) Bwhaha. But it does concern me a little that she's only gonna have like 2 months a few days, 2 1/2 months at the most.

If even two months if they stop filming in early August.

No hope at all for May sweeps, none.

I guess it depends on the pacing and structure - ATWT and GL had almost a year but still flailed around most of the time (ATWT never stopped flailing - GL picked it up towards the last week or two).

ATWT had the most time as they were canceled on December 8th. I don't know how long they were filming ahead. GL was canceled on April 1st but they already had about 6 weeks of filming in the can. Both shows ended in mid-September. So GL only had about 4 months to wrap up. If ATWT was filming at the same pace of GL, they had approximately 7.5 months to wrap

There's officially nothing to hope for in May and June sweeps.
