Then that wouldnt be Blair. I think I read that Malone always envisioned Blair as a southern belle and when he got the cahnce to cast someonw that fit that type, he did. Kassie's accent is part of the character as he wanted her to be potrayed

Kassie has been a supporting player and a prop for most of the last 15 years. Someone else is always more hyped, whether it was Tea, Marty, Kelly, or Evangeline.

We've debated this before. I've always felt the opposite. That other promising female actresses and characters were eviscerated and sidelined to prop the KDP/Blair sex goddess agenda, whether it was Luna, Kelly, Tea or Evangeline. Marty is a whole different discussion.

She did for the first few clips I've seen of her but for some reason it sounded awful, well to me anyway.

I remember that. It sounded awful because she sucked at it.

Uh how is that exactly when Blair was torn down to make them look better? Vee is right, Blair has always been a prop for someone, mostly Todd/Tea/Kelly

Luna was deified to the end of her days. I loved her, Malone loved her, the show loved her,and I couldn't have despised Blair more during that storyline with Max and the gambling.

The rest are not even a debate. Just because a woman is part of a money couple for a soap opera does not mean they are by default treated fairly or equitably compared to the men or other preferred female characters on the show. See also: Genie Francis and 90% of the women on daytime in the last twenty years, including Florencia Lozano who the show treated like trash the minute Roger Howarth left, and yes it irritated me then.
