April 8, 201114 yr Member Kylie, this is your job on Tuesday. Look La Lucci in the eye and demand to know what is going on! Oh hell, at this point, if I can tell her my name...it'll be a victory. If I managed something like this, I'd be my own hero! LOL But I will try.
April 8, 201114 yr Member That's the question no one is able to ask these writers. Or actors, fine Lorraine is back, DOES SHE HAVE 100% CREATIVE CONTROL! No soap columnist has come close to asking that question. They always dodge it.

April 8, 201114 yr Member I think Frons will let Broderick have free reign at the start. If the ratings don't improve the way he wants them to, though, he'll step in and micromanage the [!@#$%^&*] out of her material.
April 8, 201114 yr Member You see that's my somewhat thoughts on this, but LoBro would be too smart for this, so she wouldn't return at the head of the helm w/o free reign and a guarantee that she gets her money no matter what. I'd say she has a 1 yr. free reign, at the very least 6 mths. and if ratings don't improve AMC is off air.
April 8, 201114 yr Member I'm n the crowd that. Says frons gave. LB. Full creative control. It makes sense to me. Why be. HW. Now n ot so last year when she was asked
April 8, 201114 yr Author Member Frons give free creative control? Only if someone ties him up and locks him in a closet for a year Not gonna happen. LB is getting a sweet deal all around who'd pass that up, where you get paid even if the show is cancelled
April 8, 201114 yr Administrator LB is getting a sweet deal all around who'd pass that up, where you get paid even if the show is cancelled I doubt that.

LB is getting a sweet deal all around who'd pass that up, where you get paid even if the show is cancelled But the thing isn't about that. Point is she wouldn't return w/ someone over seeing her every move or certain stories. Lorraine is too smart for that, keep in mind, Lorraine doesn't need this, AMC searched for her, so again I think for her to enter the picture, she just wouldn't unless she was given free reign, pressure wasn't on her, it was AMC.
April 8, 201114 yr Author Member I doubt that. Wouldn't the show have to pay her the rest of her contract? But the thing isn't about that. We don't know that and Frons NEVER gives creative control to anyone, never has, never will. Tis why the ABC soaps are in the shape they're in.
April 8, 201114 yr Administrator Wouldn't the show have to pay her the rest of her contract? Pretty sure they don't. That would be a very bad contract on ABC's part, and Lorraine doesn't have that kind of leverage.
April 8, 201114 yr Member Wouldn't the show have to pay her the rest of her contract? CYCLES! CYCLES, CYCLES, CYCLES!!!!!!
April 8, 201114 yr Member We don't know that and Frons NEVER gives creative control to anyone, never has, never will. Tis why the ABC soaps are in the shape they're in. Lorraine isn't the type to take a job under someone else's condition, especially a buffoon like Frons. Edited April 8, 201114 yr by Clear Drama
