I agree! Casting at Y&R never think of things like that, creating all of these new characters when they should focuus on the past characters: the brooks sisters, casey, snapper, greg, brock, etc.

When daytime star Genie Francis (ex-Laura, GH et al) joins YOUNG AND RESTLESS in late May, her character will be named Genevieve. "This is going to be a very, very different character than we've seen Genie Francis portray," teases Co-Head Writer Scott Hamner.

I really hope she can hang in there. She IS Y&R, at least for me. When she goes, I go. In a way, it would be easier if she just quit and then I could walk away from Y&R without any regrets. She's the only reason I tune in.
