One would think this episode would be riveting since they promo'ed the hell out of it.

Someone seriously needs to talk to JJ. His pasty skin and bright red lipstick makes him look like a vampire reject. And the gawd awful scruffy look and hair plugs is hard on the eyes. The dude looks a hot mess and the incessant crying is like an open faucet on steroids. I've come to realize that the dude doesn't know how NOT to cry while he's emoting. I can't stand to look at him anymore.

And seriously, I never comment on Bobby but she should have been there. Carly over Alexis? Bullshit.

Eppy was a big fat D. And considering Luke's drinking was never an issue before this insta plotpoint of hitting Jake, I actually agree with the guy that he's not an alcoholic - at least not in the sense they're making him out to be. And now he's going to overcompensate on drinking by proving he's not an alcoholic thereby making them all right. Sigh!

I must have missed it but when did Luke choose to spend Christmas drinking alone in the dark rather than spend time with them? And when was the guy always almost drunk every time he railed at Nicholas? All this revisionist history is just ridiculous. STFU bitches.

was there any MENTION of bobbie at least?

Yes. She showed up at the end. Luke broke free, downed an entire bottle of scotch and in a drunken rage he grabbed Sonny's gun and shot her point blank in the head. They had an immediate funeral and interment rendering her future absences unnecessary to bring up EVER AGAIN!!!

LOL. Killing her would make more sense than never mentioning her. Come on, you have to admit....It makes no sense.

Last I heard, Bobbie was retconned out of existance. Carly isnt really a Spencer. Luke is only her "uncle" bc he was a close family friend of her biological mother Virginia and thats why he calls her Caroline, bc he knew her from when she was younger. Luke himself was an only child.

Yes, if we're judging this story on its verisimilitude, you're right. It makes no sense that a person's entire family (who is local) is at an alcoholic's intervention -- except his sole sibling. It wouldn't happen. But knowing that GH has no interest in Zeman or Bobbie and has been pretty much CLEAR on that stance, this is merely beating a dead horse. And since the dead horse isn't Carly...
