Frankly, I'd be surprised if they gave Marty any kind of sendoff at all. They could just leave her @ St. Ann's indefinitely.

I have a bad feeling they may just do that, leaving her in St. Anne's.

There were a ton of ways to include Marty in current storyline's, they just chose not to. I bet they've been planning her exit for a while now. She was brought on as a prop, that much was obvious. They didn't make much of an effort to truly weave her back into the canvas.

She hasn't had much to do and it makes me wonder if they were simply holding on to her in case Roger came back

OLTL is going to the dogs...I mean, the puppies. IMO. It's teens/Tess/and campy stuff at the moment. Except the Eddie Ford murder, Clint, D&D, Bora, and the Shane storyline. (It even started out bad) there's nothing to watch for. And, their airtime is getting cut.

I don't even like Marty. (Susan's a different story though) But, I'm really ticked about this.

Truly sad to Susan go as she is a great actress. At the same time, the writers had no clue what to write for her. She had no family and no friends in Llanview. I think when Viki saw her at St. Anne's and commented, "Oh Marty. I forgot you were here," that said a lot.

Oh well. Now I'll have five additional free hours on my Tivo each week.

I wish SH the best. I think that the show could have written for Marty better. I think they could have paired her with Cristian and given them a sweet and slow love story. They could have had her released from St. Anne's and had her start bonding with Cris.

I think that Cris is overall a decent guy. I think that he could have been a nice fit for Marty, I think he could have been understanding towards her, could have turned into a good friend and then ultimately more for her. Plus if he had fallen for her he would have only had eyes for her, and she wouldn't have to worry about competiting with other women for his love.

I don't think that Marty/Cris would have gotten a whole lot of airtime if they had been paired together, but I think they would have gotten less airtime than they have been getting as of late. Especially Cris, he definitely would have gotten more airtime had he been paired with Marty. I think that a Cris/Marty pairing could have worked.

I wonder what SH/TK are going to do, now that both of them will no longer be working on soaps? I wonder what plans they might have? They will now be dealing with the loss of two hefty incomes.

I think Thorsten made pretty good money and I think that SH wasn't do badly, especially since TK felt comfortable enough to leave AMC. But I wonder what they will both do now that of them won't be working on soaps. Maybe they are good savers and their savings will tie them over until they start doing something else? I wonder if TK might end back up at AMC.

well I have lots to say on this as I am a HUGE Susan fan (see username) but I'll keep it to a few lines: CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS PIECE OF JUNK SHOW TO BE CANCELLED. There I said it. I don't care anymore. I don't.

Alright I do have more to say: I hope the Fords stay and drive out more viewers. I hope the last 5 really good actors jump ship and then this sinking ship can go all the way under. Five hours free of torture a week though should be nice.
