Starr: "I like it when you are awful and crazy and yelling"

Starr: "And I love yelling back at you"

Starr: "Come back and be awful dad so we can all yell at each other"

Dani: "Come back so you can yell at me"

Starr: "... so I can yell at you"

Good grief the dialogue today is AWFUL! They felt the need to highlight that all this awful does is yell at each other

Alex: You look marvelous, is Nora with you?

Bo: No.

Alex: That must be why.

Bo tried to manipulate Alex, but didn't expect her to get him pinned down like that. Nora would flip if knew what went on, even if it was for a reason.

Tea was loud yesterday and today, Dani took over the yelling duties.

Oh my, I very much loved the Clint and Nigel scenes. Very, very good.

Alex was fun. The scenes with Bo were hilarious.

Was David drugged? He seemed out of it.

I hope Brody punches John in his smug face tomorrow.

So Im guessing they might actually redeem Clint? His scene with Nigel seemed to suggest show. Maybe they might put him with Viki afterall bc the only way I can buy them together is if he is redeemed. Maybe she can help him come out of his dark downfall.

Yes even Nigel is upset with what Clint is doing because Asa wanted both Bo and Clint to be better men than he was. So Clint acting like Asa is upsetting to Nigel, and he wants him to not act like he is doing. It is annoying how Clint has *no one*, on most soaps even the "bad guy" has one or two supporters at any given time.

That's just Starr subscribing to the Cramer school of lousy motherhood = when in heat ditch your kid with Addie or at the nearest school, and then chase your male's dick all over.

I enjoyed Nigel today for the first time in years. He pointed out something the writers rarely touch on, Asa did want better for his sons. Nigel was under no illusions Asa was capable of horrible things but he feels shocked at Clint's downfall... for he took so much pride in Clint and Bo being better than Asa.

I for one enjoyed the Dani/Starr dialogue with Todd. It was refreshingly honest vs the the usual sentimental tripe. This is how that crazy family should be written, acnowledging the craziness!

Tomas, you sly devil, did you just squirm with worry hearing this tiny town has a former FBI agent as lead detective?!

No, Nigel doesn't know about the Clint/David stuff. Nigel was talking about Joey's accusations that Clint was in cahoots with Eddie who nearly raped Nora. Nigel adores Nora and knows Asa did, too. Remember Nigel was very upset when Nora and Matthew moved out.

Nigel did say he gave up the island to help protect the family from David. He said that sacrifice was about protecting the family but all the stuff Clint has done to hurt Bo/Nora is about protecting himself and petty revenge. He packed his bags and was leaving until Clint admitted he really needed Nigel right now.

Thanks for letting me know. I kind of wish they'd write Nigel out as I think his time has passed and Bartlett's tics only worked with Phil Carey, but I'm glad that he and JvD got to have a meaty scene. I will watch this later. I'm glad they brought up the part about the attempted rape because that's the part which was most out of character for Clint, at least pre-plot device Clint.
