When they say the opening will evolve, I wonder if, on occasion, that blue silhouette or the collection will change to themes and colors to reflect the days' mood or a holiday or something. E.G. A christmas collection of dresses with a red/green logo, or a fall collection with a different color as the logo, etc.

Actually that looks great! Is B&B in HD these days I really haven't been watching the show too much. Last time I watched regularly oh god, was it Katie and Nick on the island after Storm's death? Rick the saboteur? Betty White dying on the beach? Actually I think the last time I watched for more than five mins and liked what I saw was Brooke and Oliver at the party.

Don't get me wrong because I considered myself a huge B&B fan up until 2007 or so since then I've been pretty take it or leave it about it. But absolutely love the grandness of the opening after years of having cheapskate opening sequences (hello GL! hello to Y&R for never updating!)

I wouldn't know. I kind of like that faint blue veil or a 'curtain' that ends the opening. I think it matches nicely with the rest. Perhaps they should just stick to this one colour scheme.

lol @ Dayzee not having a last name. I just noticed that. It just says "Dayzee". I wonder what it is, if she even has one at all?

Personally I dont see why they even had the last names in the opening. That seems like such a bad idea for any soap especially with people changing their last names all the time. Liam's was Cooper a few months ago and I didnt even realize its now Spencer till this opening. I dont know what Marcus' was when he came to town, but he's since changed it to Forrester and just a few weeks ago, Justin asked him to change it to Barber. And lets not get started on the women who change it everytime they marry and divorce. No character should have been given their last name

I like how it essentially has the glamour shots of the GH and OLTL openings but gets away with using them in a way that MAKES SENSE, making it far less cheesy. Definitely a sly move.

As for the last names, I think it's dumb too, but it seems they'll be updating it frequently with the CGI components, so I'm sure the names will be very easily edited, too.

I'm sorry, but that is simply the best opening on daytime. And it's probably the best I've seen in a long time.

It's a pity it's for B&B, a show I think is below quality and into its own realm of nonsense. And it's a pity shows I think could really use that kind of money for such an opening don't have it.
