B&B: February Discussion Thread

From what I saw in the previews, I HATE HATE HATE the new titles music. That's gonna take the most getting used to.

Yep, the music is definitely different - almost nothing like the first or second version.

It will start airing February 21, and it isn't half bad, IMO.

It is centered around a fashion runway.

The visuals(as far as I could see) were stunning. The music just doesn't fit, IMO.

And that looks as if it will be extremely difficult to update when cast members leave.

That was my first thought. There's no way they could just re-shoot scenes like that from time to time.

You can still hear the signature "B&B" theme elements in whatever the hell that was. I just don't understand why they needed to do such a dramatic overhaul of the theme song.

They should have just used the Italian Theme Song. LOL.

Wow, Ron Moss and Susan Flannery look really bad at the festivities (clothes-wise). Lesley-Anne Down has brown hair now (or is she just wearing blond wigs for the episodes).

Oh wow! They totally killed the saxophone and opted for a title card in today's 6000th show. Brad means SERIOUS business!

God, I feel like such a grinch for hating this episode. But seriously...anyone who throws a opera-singing cancer patient bursting into song begging Nickie not to smoke deserves my grinchiness.

Then there was some really stupid lines for Jackie today...UGH.

Where can I watch the new opening? Is it anywhere on YT or anything? I feel left in the dust....LOL. I'm sad that they've changed the music, I really love the current one they have now. Will watch the 6,000th ep later...

Guess what I made yesterday? Lemon bars. I was shopping and saw a box of mix on sale so bought it in honor of Pam. I never had them and wanted to see what the big deal was. I think of this show everytime I take a bite...lol

The 6000th episode event. The credits come in around the 23-25 minute mark. I think I'll have to see how it looks on TV before I really have an opinion, but I'm just kind of meh about these.

Also, as far as B&B "going HD," I'll believe it when I see it.

Well if you're a grinch, I'm just a flat out bitch because I laughed so hard when that woman randomly busted out an opera song and Jack Wagner stood there with tears in his eyes

Ok that ep was seriously boring, I can't even lie sad.gif It's sending a powerful message, & I appreciate that, but....wow.

I thought Zheng Cao had left the building then out of nowhere she busted out singing her Opera...I didn't even laugh I just had to put my WTF? Face on...I'm sorry lol!! Stephanie's face/reaction to that was what made me chuckle.

Can't see it! Apparently the owner made it private, D-; but thanks!! If the opening is HD (?) I would think the show would be in HD now as well, but I don't recall that ever being reported before so idk...

No...the show is not taping in HD.

The title card in my avatar(that I lifted from the official website) is the show's new title card and logo.

I can't find it either!

Sorry! :(

Oh I see, thanks for clarifying.

BTW that ustream video suddenly works now, I just checked...I watched the opening and I love the concept of it but I agree that song does not fit well with it at ALL! The way it closes is disappointing to me as well. I watched several times and I don't recall seeing Aggie or Owen...maybe there are different versions or something.
