November 24, 201015 yr Member I agree, if I was looking like Fumero at our age I would go to work/the store/the dry cleaner, hell church, with no clothes on. Jordi still seems to be a few cards shy of a full deck..he always looks slightly, uh mentally challenged. And he is playing a DOCTOR!!!??? LOL..this is why they make fun of soaps! (At least on GL he was SUPPOSED to play a dumb mobster.) Does he still have those pecs which look "enhanced,"? And why do all these "hunks" shave? Do chicks like that? Fumero will be 38 in December. Is this the pecs you are refering to Mitch??
November 25, 201015 yr Member Aside from Barash, and the two with their shirts on everyone looks the same. I don't see the point of a photo shoot which makes everyone seem so bland. I disagree with the bolded part. Aside from clearly being the hottest one, David Gregory shows LOTS of personality in EVERY photo. In each shot, he looks like he's having fun without sacrificing hotness. Simply put, he looks AH-MAZING I don't watch OLTL much anymore, but if he has half the personality on the show that he does in these pics, OLTL has themselves a winner there! And why do all these "hunks" shave? Do chicks like that? **raises hand** I don't know about the chicks, but I sure do. NEVER been a fan of hairy chests. IMO, the only guys who have ever made a hairy chest look hot are Drake Hogestyn, Patrick Muldoon, and Billy Baldwin.

I personally prefer the more masculine look.

November 26, 201015 yr Member I'm not necessarily bothered by shaved chests but I'm not necessarily bothered by chest hair either if it isn't too thick or the pattern isn't weird. It really depends on the guy. Some look good with chest hair and some don't. Edited November 26, 201015 yr by RomeAt50

November 26, 201015 yr Member Jon Hensley. Indeed. He's one of several (Reckell, Doug Davidson, John Loprieno) that have gotten even hotter with age.
November 26, 201015 yr Member David Fumero is a bit too old to be playing in the sandbox with those kids.
November 26, 201015 yr Member Fumero will be 38 in December. Is this the pecs you are refering to Mitch?? LOL!! Oh yes, there are Jordi's implants on full display. Actors who do that really need to always work out, as in that photo you see Jordi is skinny in the shoulders and arms but then he has two big ass tits sticking out!!! I LOVE that they have him playing a doctor, I may have to watch just to have a few laughs. I hope that it is an internationally renowned specialist of some type, and the other characters go on and on about how "Dr. Hotbody is the top of his profession!!" As for the hairy chest, guys who are playing "straight," should look like guys, not plucked, shaved little queens (IMO)
November 26, 201015 yr Member I've never seen the appeal of Fumero. He does nothing for me. Granted he has a decent body but I've always considered him a bit of a butterface. Of the Vega brothers, I always preferred Antonio/KDLR. The same for the guy who plays Ford. Something about him makes me think he's on steroids. Great big shoulders, itty bitty testicles. November 26, 201015 yr Member Fumero is handsome but it's always the basic chemistry he had with his love interests that appealed to me. He was just a strong presence for them and I thought he did a lot for Melissa Archer and Tika Sumpter. He has had some poor pairings but when he has a good one I think they are among the best couples on the show at that time. KdLR has a sensuality and a hot body but there was something silly about him to me, and so self-important in his screen presence -- the only time I ever got anything out of him was with Talia. In terms of just his looks, I agree that Fumero's not the best, although I will give him credit for keeping himself in shape and not feeling that he doesn't need to because he's been on the soap a long time or he's just too awesome to bother. November 26, 201015 yr Member This reminds me of an unpublished photo shoot Tom Pelphrey once described, where he and some other CBS guys were photographed on a rooftop half-dressed holding shovels and various gardening tools. How you doin'? Carl shared a magazine clip in one of the classic soap threads where there was a "beefcake" photo of the actor in the article. That makes me feel less critical of stuff like this since I guess it isn't exactly "new." And ladies, would you agree with the notion that most women don't find images of graphic sex appealing which is why the soap hunk/paperback romance novel cover hero/McDreamy-Steamy-Creamy stuff is what it is? Men seem to be the most objectified in network television. Women, moreso in premium cable late-night (and to some extent on G4). Edited November 26, 201015 yr by SFK

Men seem to be the most objectified in network television. Women, moreso in premium cable late-night (and to some extent on G4). I remember Pelphery talking about it, and making fun of it, saying they gave him a shovel, and he was like "Why do I have a shovel," it made them all look like they were on the cover of some "bad gay porn," which made me like TP, a "hunk," with a sense of humor, even if his acting got on my nerves after a while!B Wow, I am not one to go gaga over the steroid shaved boys of soaps (except for the guy who used to play Mike on ATWT, a "god among men," !!) But Fumero, "a butterface," with just a "decent," body??? Wow, I would love to live in your neighborhood!!!
