I liked Zora. I don't remember her being written as "SASSY!!!" as much as she was written as a by-the-book nurse who wasn't up for any of Laura and Leo's shenanigans. I was like 11 at the time, but always wanted to see more of her. First in a long line of characters like that for me...remember Janelle? They tried with her but gave up. Same thing with Kenny, and then they brought him back for pointless stupidity.

But this Leona...what the hell, AMC. I can't believe it. Ridiculous.

Lets run down some of this.

I tried giving Zach/Kendall some love, but today's epi. my god, first the entrance for Zach was horrible. He looked like he'd rather be playing casino instead of seeing someone he misses. IDK that's the feeling I got and prbly what it gave some others. I honestly could have fell asleep to thier scenes tonight. What was special there, Zach's entrance? Kendall setting up his obvs. entrance or the 2 second carry in to the Slater home and then he put her down and acted completely disinterested. Then the couch scene, Ryan and Madison had more heat in a couch scene, but again I'm assuming that was on purpose. I just wasn't feeling anything for them past the foot in the bucket which I thought was funny then what followed was meh.

Kenlee's scene was wonderful, I srsly hate to love them, but Kendall and Greenlee have this bond that sucks you in even when you can't stand them. I feel like they should date. I'm actually being honest there, they act like they are each other's love of thier life. Still hope Kendall gets to slap her just once.

Madison is actually finally growing some type of brain functions. I'm glad she had that epiphany and walked out. S.O.B. doesn't deserve her. (yes I said that)

Greenlee and Ryan, again I don't like this pairing, can't stand the constant Friday cliffhangers w/ them, do they make you want to tune in Monday? I do like that he is sacrificing his life for her, least he could do.

Jackson you are Erica's carpet rug, but I love that you are defending your daughter by any means necessary. Even though she's an ungrateful brat, she's your ungrateful brat.

Liza, you make me put more middle fingers to any woman on screen and make me use the word bitch more times than my mother did w/ your mother. Welcome home, keep it going. Where was Damon? some asst. he is. dry.gif

Jesse and Angie I love ya, but STFU. Angie atleast made it 50% her fault and not 100% David's, so I could tolerate her hate for David, David isn't solely to blame to her , Angie is also to blame, Angie said, b/c of David's cutbacks there were no gloves in the room and the specialist wasn't on the same floor, so it forced her to make a stupid decision. She's more pissed at her decision to save a life costing her sight and instead blames it on David. The acting by Debbie in that scene was so powerful..Darnell  the point where his overacting got me ROFL, was when he slammed the table while Angie was saying "I hate him! I hate him!" watching Jesse's facial expressions of pain and anguish while hitting the coffee table had me rolling.

Nick Pearson, good actor. Srsly a good actor from what I saw.

Stella I mean Epiphany, I can't remember her name had to have "sassy, angry black woman" on her casting call sample script.

Darnell Williams should be barred from ever teaching acting again!

Debbi Morgan was great, as usual, but it was ridiculous how she blamed David, even 50%, when she could have waited to put on protective gear before treating the kid.

I loved Madison figuring out what Ryan was doing and telling him off.

Zzzzendull were as boring as always. Thank goodness for Leona being there to lighten the scene.

The courtroom scenes would have worked better imo if we viewers hadn't been clued in 2 weeks ago as to who Nick was and what he was going to say. As much as I wanted to see Greenlee turn on Ryan (which I know won't last unfortunately), it had the potential to be a powerful shocker.

Another disappointing Rylee cliffhanger. Once again, the damn show gives us no incentive to tune in on Monday!

She couldn't. It was said the kid had little time left, the specialist was at another floor. The gloves weren't there, she sent an orderly to get the gloves and find the specialist, if Angie would have clocked out and not seen that kid, he'd be dead. If Angie waits for the specialist, the kid would be dead, if Angie waits for the gloves, the kid still would be dead. She had to treat him immediately or he would have died.

Me too.

I honestly felt like I was watching Rylee redux there. Yehhhhhhhhhh

LOL.

Shit, go to the Front Street clinic. I'm sure they definitely have gloves with all the drug addicts, rape victims, stab wounds and abortions they do.

But, seriously. David, well within his rights, cut the budget. Big deal. It happens in hospitals all across the country in a thing called a RECESSION! Angie ANGELA, being the best damn chief of staff this hospital has ever seen, is responsible for running the hospital. It still falls on her for not making sure that, even with the budget cuts, she still had a hospital that was able to have its nurses and doctors treat patients safely. Without taking the proper precautions, she could've not just infected herself, but any one of the staff that was around her at that time. It was totally irresponsible of her. She needs to just own it and move the hell on. I mean, seriously. What does she want David to do? Die for making her blind?! OOOPS!

Get over it. <_<

There being no gloves in the room is completely IRRELEVANT to why Angie got infected. She was infected bc she rubbed her hands on her eye. Even with gloves on, the blood would have STILL been on her fingers when she touched her eye. Instead of being on her skin, it would be on the glove, but it would still make contact with her. That was a CARELESS action that is 100% Angie's fault, but that is ignored and everyone jumps to the conclusion that David's budget cut blinded her. Bitch, please

I thought Debbie Morgan was as bad as DW....ok maybe not quite as bad as Darnell but she did some major scenery chewing and over acting as well.

The Rylee crap and the "amazing" non dramatic Rylee friday cliffhangers is the sole reason why this show is suffering in the ratings. AMC did good, had some stability (a word unknown to OLTL) but once they started the Rylee barf fest and promoting it, the ratings started dipping.

Oh, no, she's definitely no stranger to pulling up to the table and chomping down on a hearty helping of scenery herself. Breasts heaving, huffing and panting, fallin' out like she testifyin' on a Sunday mornin'. But I can accept that from her, for some reason.

There's just something about Misster Nellie's queened out, overly dramatic theatrics -- on even the simplest things -- that makes me wish Denise Vasi and JR Martinez would trick him into attending whatever acting classes they go to.

I loved their little scene to & I get what you mean about hating to love them. I feel the same way to. Definitely don't agree about them dating though, LOL. But yeah I liked their scene, their friendship is not so bad but I have to admit I look forward more to the snarky altercations between them than the nice ones. lol.

I know this is kinda a back handed complement, but I love Debbi's classic soap opera heroine acting. It's a lost art. I don't hate Darnell as much as some--sometimes I think he's brilliant, but I have to agree in this case (this plot point lost me--Angie had been going on for eons about how David hadn't stocked the cupboards, and Jesse NEVER heard till now?)

What's frustrating about AMC right now is SOO much is the best it's been in *years*. Yet it's easily fixed things like Rylee, the crap Friday cliffhanger, etc, that's bringing it down.

    • Strangely, it was Phillip who invited Evie to go to the ball with him. She had been taking care of Samantha, so I guess it was a way to thank her for helping Justin after Jackie's death? So she was not invited by Vanessa. Phillip brought her as his plus one. That Evie stayed on the canvas so long is extremely odd, especially since Ben was gone way before her. My theory is Marland was going to bring Rita back, so they wanted Evie to remain in place as her sounding board. When he left and Potter was still EP, that might have still been the plan. Once Kobe came in, that would have been thrown in the dumpster along with a lot of other story plans and characters.
    • Nina and Portia are generally presented as entirely too savvy to not think this ketamine (don't even GET me started on that) nonsense wouldn't immediately blow up in their face. Drew, the ex-navy seal and congressman, wouldn't get a drug test immediately after acting wildly out of character? Portia allowed this to so easily be traced back to her by roping in Brad, a man who can't stand her? Nina didn't think Willow would Stand By Her Man? Girl, PAY ATTENTION! I also find it disturbing how BOTH of them are gaslighting Willow. It feels gross. They should have presented Gio as anything other than a responsible, genial and affable guy if they wanted us to buy any of Dante's ranting about him. You've known this kid since he was a baby and suddenly you're yelling at him like he's the devil incarnate? It was so forced. Every one of them, including Dante, know that they all would have done the same thing in Gio's shoes. Teen gets drunk, friends cover for them. Gio's only 5 years older than him, barely allowed to legally drink himself. How was he to know the kid had alcohol poisoning? Alexa Havins crying every day over keeping a baby secret. Ahh memories. Molly and Kristina are just the worst to their mom and Alexis allows it. Kristina does need to be committed, she's a danger to herself and others. I wish Alexis would just tell her that she knows. I can't wait until Molly finds out about her almost getting Ric and Liz killed. I need her to body slam Kristina. Sasha thinks she knows EVERYTHING. She's always giving advice and painted as right no matter what. And so holier than thou while carrying a married man's baby.
    • Correction, Chicago Hope 1994/95 was initially Thursday 9 pm, a CBS dead zone and head-to-head w/ Seinfeld. 1994/95 CBS Thursday 10 pm initially was Eye to Eye with Connie Chung. Later in the season CBS did a scheduling shift with Chicago Hope moving to Monday 10 pm, Eye to Eye with Connie Chung moving to Thursday 9 pm, and 48 Hours moving from Wednesday 10 pm to Thursday 10 pm.

    • A--I wish someone would post a better vid of the entire ball, as it must be out there. And B--nope. Evie is only in a small segment of the ball with Phillip, Rick and Mindy. She doesn't dance at all. Ross dances with Helena and Amanda. I'm not even sure why Evie is at the ball---Vanessa heartily disliked her. I did see that Billy actually asked Henry to introduce him to Vanessa, which I hadn't realized.
    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:
