I loved Lilith..though it didn't jibe with the rest of Marland's ATWT which was so dully earnest all the time. She would have been a better fit on GL which has always...(at least since Marlands' turn) embraced camp better. I would love to see Lilith threaten Reva.."I would stuff you into one of my coffins dear but since your middle aged spread as taken over in earnest, I couldn't find one big enough!"   I loved her catching people in bear traps and sending people home in coffins..and yes, the only time I loved Shannon was when she was that dumb shruken head..(and who could forget dumb Duncan not even checking to see if its real just running out of the tent to have..yes poison darts shot at him!)

The Jessica actress had no sexual chemistry with anyone but I just dont think she would have chosen Duncan or he her.

That always kind of made me chuckle too. Also sort of a "Clean up this unsightly mess!" look.

It's coming up on a year since Prince passed and in honor of his musical genius, I'm posting this episode from 1985 where at 18:00, we see Lily and Dusty bopping out to Let's Go Crazy.

LOL..sadly I can't remember where my keys are but I remember that commercial and that face! Bette and Joan would stop their "Feud" to applaud Fulton's entrance..."Lisa is BACK and in the thick of things!"complete with hat, fur, and the corpse of her millionaire husband.  I wonder if her dislike of the Whit actor had anything to do with her, "Ewww something smells in here..oh its Whit...will they ever get the stain out of that rug.." look?

Damn, that Hutch or whatever his name is, was such a FLAMER!! Remember when we just automatically assumed everyone was straight..despite every indication otherwise..oh the innocent 80s and 90s! Tess comes off as his kind of annoying best gal friend then his girlfriend.

    • That's true. He may have ended up keeping her on a recurring basis, like Dr. Michaels on ATWT. I'm trying to remember if GL had a similar long-running therapist.
    • Oh in terms of ratings I think it would have been in a dicey place probably even before then. I mostly was just thinking of if the show could have carried on creatively.
    • Even if by some miracle Knots Landing continued, 1994/95 it would have been killed by ER.

    • Assuming that Marland had been allowed to write the Carrie story the way he'd envisioned, Millette would've been involved in the story. And she might've played a role in Andy Norris' return (if the speculation on that had ever materialized, and Marland loved bringing back bad boys) But he doesn't seem interested in Sara's personal life. And the women of Springfield could only be analyzed so much.
    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
