LOL... got that right. While I get tired of this shtick that Luke plays around (something they never seem to actually say definitively I've noticed - he cops to some but then he swears there's none) and Tracy's failure to accept that she can be loved/appreciated for something more than money, the energy/passion/mutual respect between Luke and Tracy as well as Tony and Jane is palpable. I wouldn't be surprised to see an exit interview with both of them that admits that the only reason they've stuck around this long is because of the other.

If I ever saw a scene with them like what Jason and Sam or Robin and Patrick get where she rests her head on him on the brink of tears (and this perplexingly is when they are happy) while he tries to crush her skull with his chin, I think I would lose my lunch.

It would totally undermine the characters. Not that Tracy isn't capable of vulnerability and needing Luke to hold her (Alan's funeral comes to mind when Luke told her she could grieve any way she wanted and he'd be there with her), but it's not a "safe place" for the character. Sam and Robin are shadows of what they used to be but I don't think Jane Elliot would ever let Tracy go there. No matter what's written, she knows how to be Tracy.

YAAAAY! This will be FUN to watch. Nice to see people UN-"Appreciate Kate." :D

Brenda never appreciates anyone who is classier, smarter, and less needy than her. She's sort of like a male dog. Anyone who comes near her territory, and does everything 100x better, makes her EXTREMELY territorial!

Brenda raises money for needy children. She doesn't steal money, accept gifts without documenting them for tax purposes, and mismanage a company's finances.

Pretty sure "theft" isn't classy. There's no such thing as a classy thief.

B*tch was framed. I'm sure of it.

And since when is it the executive of the company's responsibility to manage funds? should'nt she have an assistant, or a company accountant/treasurer/money person to tell her when she's running short on the green?

This storyline is f*cked up in more ways than worth counting.

Is it time yet to vote her off the island?

Speaking of Brenda's charity, I keep wondering why people on the show trash Suzanne for running a charity but not Brenda.

I was also wondering if Luke and Tracy had ever had a story besides this one. I swear it's always Luke screws Tracy over, begs Tracy's forgiveness,

has a health crisis

, Tracy is angry but takes him back, then TG has another vacation and Luke screws her over again.

Who? Brenda or Kate?

If you mean Brenda, possibly. Her return is turning around somwewhat for me, but I still love Kate more.

Add a crappy fake accent somewhere in there, and you have the quintessential Luke and Tracy storyline.

Yeah they have - which is what makes this repetitive stuff so frustrating. In the beginning they were constantly trying to one-up the other and it was much more evenly based. After that they were working together to keep ELQ in Tracy's hands. Then they went through a period with some of the most gut wrenchingly honest dialogue and openness either character has ever seen as they fell in love. This foolishness has only been going on since the writers strike ended and Guza had to "fix" all the other problems. Any way you cut it, they are still the longest running couple we now have on the canvas, and it's close to 5 1/2 years with only the last 2 being the Shrew vs the Scoundrel. I think when they shelved Valentin, they really put LuNacy up a creek without the proverbial paddle which has lead to this holding pattern. I just hope this time it leads somewhere else.

TG's schedule does limit what they can do. She was kidnapped by Helena recently, a few years back she was sort of allied with Helena for a time. They sort of dropped the story Tracy was figured into: she stumbled across the fact the GH lab technician mysteriously died while she was investigating Liz's baby. They seem to have dropped the entire thing. Luke also had small stories with Laura, Laura again, Holly, Holly again, Ethan, and they both got a little play in the Keifer story. They are never going to have a six month long ongoing story, that's for sure.

Word. The tribe has spoken. Time to leave Mobster Island, bitch. :D

Thanks for your answers.

I do love Jane Elliot and I realize that her relationship with Luke is a big reason why she's still on the show. I hope they have a big story down the line.
