They've casted John Ross and his wife perfectly. The other half of the new cast, not so much.

Wait...why do I keep hearing Christopher is not a Ewing by blood? JR is his father, right? It has to be a future reveal because it was determined that JR knocked up Kristen.

OMG, I love it so much. I remember watching Dallas as a kid, and I am just so madly in love with the revived Dallas. Ahhhh.... I haven't been this excited about soapy goodness in a long time. LOVE the way they are setting up the conflict between the new generation! Christopher's fiance Rebecca is creepy, and that scar between her eyes is very distracting. Love Elena. She strikes me as the type who'd cut a bitch without thinking twice. For those who have better memories than me, who are Christopher's biological parents? I thought they were Kristen and JR? But I guess not?

Christopher is Sue Ellen's nephew.

Christopher and John Ross are related by blood through Kristen and SE, but Christopher's father was drug dealer Jeff. Some of the episodes from that storyline are on TNT On Demand (which makes sense, I guess, since Christopher's legitimacy is constantly being brought up).

BTW, I loved the opening. Just wish they had spliced some clips of the actors in there. How Knots-y of them to have the title scroll by.

Speaking of Knots, I want those twins on this show NOW. I want Rob Ewing riding horses cowboys all over Southfork.

Well might as well on the Christopher character....so many male actors out there and they choose Jesse I look like a hispanic male model who cant act Metcalf....ugh

I actually think that Jesse Metcalfe is doing okay so far with his acting on this show.I see some Bobby in him. IMO, Josh Henderson is the one that comes off weaker in the acting department. I'm also liking Jordana's Brewster's character. I'm glad that JR is awake and I hope that Bobby beats his cancer.

The twins should only be a few years younger than John Ross and Christopher, so I want Alexa Havins as Betsy and IDK who for Bobby II.
