Greenlee's grief is not coming off as very believable IMO. I think that her grieving seems kind of fake and somewhat vacant.

She's crying now at the yacht club, but she will probably be chasing after Ryan soon again, once she finds out he's in jail. She grieves for a couple of minutes and then she's back to chasing after Ryan. I'm not really buying her grief for David right now. Amanda seems more genuinely upset than Greenlee does, IMHO.

Just like Marj came in and was awesome, and Anna came in and was awesome.

That's the kind of stunt casting that works because there are "outside" people that soap fans would get excited for and then there are those who we just...do not care about. Eric Roberts, I'm talking about you (tell him for me, Farah).

But yeah, I want to see more of the Kanes or more of Mona's side of the family (do we even know what Mona's maiden name was?). Give Erica a long-lost male cousin who swoops in and seduces Asher or a female cousin who comes in and further complicates matters in the quad. That possibilities are endless.

Yup, once more shirking his responsiblity like when he blamed David for getting him fired when he used police resources to fly his daughter down to Pigeon Hollow to investigate the plane crash.

Yes, she was spot on with both that dolt Tad and raging moron Jesse!

I couldn't disagree more. IMHO, Greenlee is distraught that David's gone and her flashbacks to the good times with him the past 2 days have solidified for me that she really did love him. She went back to Ryan's because she couldn't take being at Wildwind with the memories of David and she left Ryan's place because she knew she shouldn't be there.

    • Poor Philip. I appreciate how seriously his and Xander’s scenes were taken though. It felt like real drama and not like a big joke. You could actually feel Xander’s pain and anger. It adds another dynamic to the Kiriakis family storylines and I’m looking forward to the effects that this is going to have across the canvas. I can see them weaving Kate and Roman into this storyline as well. And it would be really nice if this somehow helped cause conflict for Stephanie/Alex too, especially because of what Alex did today. With any luck, Stephanie will be furious about it.  And I’m glad that Sarah has Maggie to confide in about her secret. I also liked seeing Steve and Shawn (and their matching jackets

    • TBF, I don't think we've seen her interact enough with the "have-nots" to know if she is or isn't. It's possible, but I don't think you can say that from her interactions with Eva and Silkpress.
    • You're right - though I did confuse his name with an actual actor who was on Dynasty.

    • "Might" is not "is". And I was talking about the specific case about her attitude to Eva.
    • But she can still be a priveliged elitist. She might have the same attitude to anyone from 'the wrong side of the tracks' whether they had an agenda or not. Nicole seems to be an outlier in her family. Her parents, kids and sister seem to think themselves above reproach.
    • Damian's clothes have definitely been a specific look -kinda reads 70's pimp to me . I guess it's a trend?? but it seems more suited to Holden. JR is 51  and I guess Damian is supposed to be a little younger but it looks a little odd on him in my book. But at least they're trying. The men's clothing has been bland/generic for years-either suits or basic casual stuff interchangeable  b/w them.
